Porky 1982
Alrighty guys so here’s a bit of an update. Both a Jack Herer and Blue Power have sprouted well and are looking good. Just wanting to make sure they aren’t stretching too much?? (Green pot is Jack, black pot is Blue Power) Now the other Blue Power has pushed above the soil, but the shell is still very much on it. Should I be getting in there with tweezers and try and peel off that shell? And finally, the second Jack Herer that didn’t crack in the water (but did sink) or the paper towel method has still not sprouted. How long do you guys usually wait till you call it a dead seed? I mean I might as well keep it there for a week longer, but I feel after two weeks if there’s no action there won’t be right? Cheers everyone BB Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIf i were you BB ide let your soil dry out a fair bit before watering again. To get the helmet off the sprout i just use a toothpick and slide it off just wait till it slides off easy dont force it. Yeah after 2 weeks its dead. itchybromusic
put a drop of water on the seed shell a single water drop should hold & not run down the stalk to the medium you still might have to mess with it to get it off but try keeping a drop of water up there for a day or so & see if it loosens a bit , should make it a lill easier to get the shell off if nothing else
Beginner_bud
Alright thanks heaps guys! I’ll pull back on the watering and place a droplet of water on the shell and try and gently push it off with a toothpick in the next day or two. Thanks heaps for the advice guys, appreciate it. Try Blu
Hey bud, they are standing and green, happy days. Mine slow up a little once they have sprouted. Putting their energy into the roots is my guess. Easy to stuff them here with a medium that is overly wet. Get them outside. Dappled shade for a few days. Keep rain from drenching pot for a week or two if need be.Good luck.
bakedcake
Yeah your soil still looks a tad wet there. This can slow them down
Beginner_bud
Thanks for the advice guys! I’ll pull back the watering to every second day or so and next Sunny Day when I’m home I’ll bring them out for some natural sun Cheers! bakedcake
Even longer I would try stretch to even 4 days. In would I find cannabis prefers drier soil then wet. It’s a lot easier to fix underwatering then overwatering remember that as overwatering is the most common issue I reckon anyone would see on here
AquaDolly
This might help its a Jack Herrer x Girl Scout cookie. Approx 6 weeks into budding. Might give you a general idea. Only watered every 2nd day unless it rains in Queensland Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk
