Carbons No-Till Try Out

Recommended Posts

Fresh trays done with cardboard on bottom.

Then small layer of mainly peat. Used soil from potatoes.

Then a layer of semi decomposed cuttings from mainly sunflowers and buckwheat.

Added some paw paw.

Top layer of comfrey.

All grown by me

Harvested 2/3 trays and all worms I sifted through m hands were put in new tray. Hopefully most will migrate when they finish the last tray. May harvest last one in a week or so.

Nice. The worms should be into that by now. I find leaving them alone for a few weeks helps sometimes rather than feeding all the time. Which is good coz I'm lazy. Do you feed them a often or one big feed then leave?

Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

They get it when I remember so usually a thick layer every 10-14 days.

Malted barley does help, have seen better reproductive rates, Coote said that somewhere, defo does help, used a few times.

Few pics of a 200mm pot, 4.2 l

Gsc clone, my first proper one, the runt stayed small until recently when it got proper light. Going good now.

Yes it's due a pot up.

It has used not much water, I water sparingly. Few light sprays every few days, checking weight etc.

Im only figuring my stuff out, has high water retention, I realise underwatering can cause problems too. It has always been healthy looking.
