2017 was the 3rd hottest year on record, since they started manipulating the data, that is, how do they measure the globe anyway? lol

Sydney had its hottest temp EVER the other day, the hottest recorded temp EVER

except it wasn't

they haven't beaten any of the old temps yet, lol

What's with every temp average being compered to the 1960-1990 average, and why do other cuntrys have a different 30 year average's,

thought it was GLOBAL warming, not cuntry specific

fuck people are gullible, believe any dribble they tell you, Professor Tim Flannary has all the answers lol, he just bought another riverside property , he doesn't even believe his own bullshit

Anybody want to by a second hand desalination plant, never used, got a few, pick an east coast state, we will have one at the right price for you

only costs about 1/2 a billion in maintenance a year

global cooling is a coming, lol

Global Warming = Earth's Evolution. It's previous history is recorded in the sedimentary layers.. Why this topic gets as much air time as it does is beyond me.

That said, it wouldn't hurt to reduce our Carbon Footprint SENSIBLY. it would be foolish for today's society and how it's structured to totally rely on Renewable's 100%.

Climate change happens despite human interference. However the current rapid climate change is most likely influenced by humans. This debate is over as far as most of the world is concerned, apart from the current US government, various right wing groups, and vested interest (coal, oil).

It's not illogical to think that with 7.6 billion people burning things to produce electricity or cook food, with a finite atmosphere (65 km up and that's it!), can effect temperature. Add to this the fact that deforestation takes place at a huge rate (e.g. the Amazon, Indonesia e.t.c.).

Vested interest has been very successful duping some into thinking that climate change either is not influenced by man, or worse, is even going to be good for us (they like to have a bet both ways just in case they are wrong).  Not only that, but they actually suggest it is a scientific/government conspiracy. In the paranoid US it is the government out to get money from you.

It is sad that this sort of conspiracy shit pops up so regularly on pot sites. Makes us look a bit like nutjobs imo. Maybe it's because the government has lied to us about cannabis, that we assume we are lied to about everything. Science has it's faults, but it is still the best way to at least come to some understanding about what occurs in the world. Ask yourself who is likely to give you the best answer about climate; a climate scientist or an oil/coal company, or a politician who owns shares in the latter.

"Most likely" and "the debate is over" bit at odds with each other

Lets ask Tim Flannery what he thinks, if we can find him on his new riverside property, next door to his old one, lol

he seems to get a lot right, lol lol lol lol, anyone want to buy a desalination plant, never used, only cost six bill to build and one bill a year not to produce anything

Its a great world the left leaning socialist types live in, a bit like a Fascist state, no alternative view is allowed

thank god all our manufacturing has gone, or we would be really stuffed for power

left right left right left right, its all the same shit in the end, and paid for by the same pricks

anyway i find it funny that people who spend all day inside are experts on the weather

As always follow the money to find the truth

Hey, that sounds like the Liberal Party policy. Sell all the state owned assets and have less income, so tax the people more ie GST to cover the short fall in income.

The Murray/Darling agreement is being breached by up river states. SA gets left with the shit. If the Murray mouth closes up due to lack of flow the whole river will stagnate and die. Qld, NSW, Vic or SA will have NO usable water from the Murray then. So sell the desal plant and have nothing to cover our water needs.

Yea, that sounds like a plan. NOT.

Its like the solar battery, it's there to cover THIS STATES future needs. It may not be needed today, but the way things are going, it will be needed tomorrow.

Now look at what's happening in other sates "Hmmm, maybe we should install a battery...." They're all NOW considering doing the same thing. Not for today, but for tomorrow.

The Lib's all think of the $$$$ here and now, today. No foresight for tomorrow.

I know how to fix it, we'll just burn $100 notes to generate power.

OHH BROTHER  TSK

Sorry to inform you, mate. But quite a few of those Coal Power Stations that were destined to come online in China and India have been reduced or canned altogether. I was taken back a bit when I read that to. Alarm bells should be going off in Canberra with that news.

When the financial crash eventuates in Australia, it's going to hit us that hard and it'll take decades to recover, if we ever fully recover at all. Times will indeed change in this country of ours..
