You should be worried billy, taken a bit of time to tweak new area , all stars are starting to line up n Sal Jnr will have family members to keep her comfortable soon enough,

Have been getting a chopper proof space outside ready so should be able to get a few outside over the next couple of weeks

sorry to be a pain but apart from dangers to house pets snail bait is not something you should have round the garden imho

active ingredient Metaldehyde ,( i think breathed in is worse than oral ingestion , i think )

Besides snail and slug bait, metaldehyde is also found in solid fuel for camping stoves.

After ingestion, metaldehyde is converted to acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is toxic to the

nervous system and causes muscle tremors, ataxia (lack of coordination) and seizures.

look into sacrificial plants for snails , dry oat meal which they eat & blow up , lots of mulch / fungus for snails to eat instead of plants

you can always look into eating them but you can have that on ya own :)

Not me itchy , chimeon didn't like it that they attacked her lettuce , next thing I knew she'd taken matters into her own hands, pets can't get to them so safe that way, and not gonna stir the pot the Italian blood might start to boil and when she's scorned she attacks nervous system and causes muscle tremors and a few other tricks up sleeve! lol

I will add though that what ever is in or on soil will inevitably be absorbed by what ever is growing in the soil/garden beds and if its an edible plant eventually consumed so not good but worse is when its absorbed by canna and eventually that cannabis is heated who knows what type of chemical reactions are occurring

So what would you suggest, it's been hard enough getting her interested and I really don't want criticise her, nor do I want to just go scrape it up without some explanation?

She's even got her own 2 plants to look after in there somewhere,

She also likes wood hence the fresh mulch from some trees I trimmed n put through wood chopper for her,if you could tell what plants deter them I could then bring up in passing as something I've read

Sorry it's kids gloves at the moment with the addition of new grow area and she's realising the potential dangers this brings
