Im not sure how you could bring it up in way that wont upset her but maybe just politely educate her that toxic poisons and chemicals and fruit n veg and cannabis dont mix despite the fact commercial farmers smother our food in crap everyday and remind her that your not trying to have a go at her but rather you love her so much that you wouldn't want to be doing anything that would put yours or her health at risk,you care about each other to much to take the risk and hopefully you don't get in trouble to much i dunno

All good micmac that actually was some fluent bullshit coming out of me cause my approach would have normally been something like,,see that shit you put in my f--cking garden get it and f--k it off to somewhere f--cking else but with heart in the right place

Very similar to a approach I would taken when I younger, now the shit stacks a lot deeper than it used to so I had to adjust my approach to limit damage

She's even got her own 2 plants to look after in there somewhere,

She also likes wood hence the fresh mulch from some trees I trimmed n put through wood chopper for her,if you could tell what plants deter them I could then bring up in passing as something I've read

Sorry it's kids gloves at the moment with the addition of new grow area and she's realising the potential dangers this brings

for starters good idea on the wood mulch just don't mix it in to the soil as it will rob N from your garden , mulch only or compost it

 

I get the Italian blood / temper , first off she's doing the best she can do for her fam , even as a beginner the food you produce at home 

will be better than what's found in the supermarket , not to mention the money saving that could be put to other things like , Jimmy Choo's 

 

& feels real good at dinner time to go out to your living supermarket & pick fresh salad for that nights meal

as she moves though summer & winter growing she's providing the right nutrients for the right time of year with seasonal produce the way we're meant to eat 

 

it needs a bit of commitment on many levels trying to be self sufficient , question is what level of commitment is she prepared to make as it is possibly 

directly related to her health & the health of her fam 

 

one of the levels that i find the hardest is sourcing quality inputs & finding ways to avoid dangers in shelved products 

which sometimes are fucking hard to avoid , she can't be fucking up if you just don't know your fucking up 

 

really it's not about fucking up it's about education & trying to forget allot of what you know , sounds strange but 

most of us are educated , apart from school early on , by the media unfortunately , example viagra & the term erectile dysfunction

 

viagra original purpose was being tested as a blood pressure med , they noticed it did FA for the mice's blood pressure 

but seemed to have an effect in other areas , well let sell this pill for that then , how do you sell a pill without a illness

 

well you go to a marketing / advertising company & they come up with the term erectile dysfunction & and wallah an illness is born 

that every Doc uses in the appropriate situation 

 

how are you supposed to know when stuff is sold on a shelf & mentioned by a Doc , statistically the most trusted member of society 

question everything even the Doc , he's just as human as me & you 

 

 what i suggested earlier , sacrificial plants is more about accepting snails are going to attack so give some of what they want 

but there's no magic bullet only google & trying shit

How's you guess itchy,yeah she take pride in cutting some basil chives, and I forget what they call it ( bugger old age ) from the other garden n pots, she's got sweet potatoe corn a few different types of beans , beetroot, chillies, spinach lettuce strawberries ( they look fantastic) and god knows what else

She's gonna get a Sal Jnr and candy cream I just gotta finish the other side of the plot ,

Always informative itchy but I'm gonna go with gq approach , she probably see right through me but she's put in so much effort I think she'll see the common sense in its removal especially with her new canna plants germinate in the tent
