Yeah i think thats to far when i bought mine they said to keep the spider cob at 30cm during flowering but also said that you can have them even closer put your had above the canopy if its not to hot for your hand its fine for your plants. But obviously the closer it is the less area it covers. In veg stage i had it 30cm to 40cm from canopy and it grew like crazy. I think the 120 gets more coverage but if u try it let me know how you go.

Thanks guys, one finger man myself, just point at what letter i want and press. These spider cobs sound to good, low heat low juice and even have built in fans but like all things that sound to good, well you know what i mean. Just don't know anything bout em. Hoping someone hears my pathetic call for help. Thanks 4 welcome

Possibly but my mate ignores that factor and often just turns on the flower leds as mentioned one day the leds will burn out and he'll blame mars hydro lol

Bob i don't know the reason behind the Spider led cob light u have why people are not recommending it but i have to say i have not seen a decent grow under purple cob led's yet

I've seen great grows in Melbourne area.

Ive only had the VIPARSPECTRA in the room with the spider cob for the last two weeks. Before that it was in its okwn room with two caramelisious autos. When they finished i put it in with spider in 1m×1m×1.8 room with 1× white rhino . I also had a problem with spider mites witch slowed me down a bit. With the height i have it anywhere from 5' to 12' depending on the size as it grew i kept raising it to keep the coverage. My angle is 120 degrees i didn't know you could change it. Ive noticed over the last two weeks with the two side by side how much denser the buds are under the spider compared to the VIPARSPECTRA at the moment they are 4 ' from the lights only cause i ran out of space. The autos i ran 20/4.

With the rhino 18/6 and now 12/12. I got 4 ounces of the autos. Dwc

120 degree is the lens that comes with the Spider light you have 60 & 90 degree for deeper penetration it's literally solid class magnifying the spectrum. I've changed every 2nd and replace with 60 degree it narrows the beam but defiantly deeper penetration. 90 degree beam angle not as narrow as 60, might be idea.
