Bogan's backyard!

Just had a read up on mycelium... Interesting, two years or so ago the council cut down a big tree outside my house anyway I got them to drop a pile of fresh mulch in my driveway and didn't use all. I see mushrooms growing by my driveway on and around that heap... Question... Would some of this heap if not all go in the hole for mycelium? Also I have a dog buried in me backyard and thinking dig a hole next to it...

Cheers itchy, was just thinking about getting that mycelium network going, I got mushrooms growing on that pile... Had a thought... What if I topdress where the dog is over winter? Or is it a waste of time

after a while don't be shy to throw in a winter cover crop 

roots get life & nutes cycling in the soil

If the wood chips are aged they are fine older than 12mths

2 years the pile been sitting there, I'm thinking put that heap on top off where the dog is buried and hopefully get the mycelium network going.

 

Is my theory correct?

look in the pile for already present myco ...from my experience it works better initially having it turn in partially

but will still work but slower if just put on top ...give it a go though and document it...wander around looking for myco to add
