What would happen if you put aquarium bio media and product like http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/Stability.html in a hydro system?

 

Or using co2 in the water to regulate ph, like in an aquarium co2 system?

 

Using aquarium water primer to get aged water quicker, would that neutralize some of the nutrients?

You can add that shit if you like. Its just going to add beneficial bacteria to your water and medium. It wont hurt. I dont think it would really help much either though.

 

Its all the same bacteria you find in aquaponics systems that convert fish waste into nutrients.
