Hydroponic produce

I looked them up... yep, they are alpine varieties. They don't grow quite the same way as regular strawberries, the removal of flowers doesn't need to happen for as long... 2-3 months should do... granted, you might have trouble with fruit set indoors in the absense of pollinators.

With tomatoes an electric toothbrush works (it's the vibration that loosens the pollen)... I expect it's probably similar with berries, but I'll check that ;)

I'm off to Bunnings tomorrow morning! Just went for a browse on the way home in their gardening section and christ almighty!, at least eight varieties of strawberries, loganberry, blackberry and gooseberry seedlings. I was berry impressed and am berry excited about what adventure I am about to embark on, will be doing research tonight, but would be berry appreciative of any info on growing these plants indoors.:-)
