Whats the best yielding, mold resistant outdoor strain ?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, after another crap year with the rain, crazy NSW weather. I thought I would look for new strains for my outdoor adventures. I am looking for high yield and high potency and of course mold resistance is a must. I've been growing Chocolope and also some crosses that I made but all are mold sensitive.

thanks hermy

Question: What is the best yielding, mold resistant outdoor strain?

ANSWER:

There are many answers to give for this question

I have chosen to run with, the best answer I can think of,

it is an old classic.

Big Bud x Northern Lights.

If grown correctly, can pack a powerful punch, 1-2 coner.

Wicked Smoke.

Extremely Large Yield, additionally, it is mold resistant.

It grows outdoors. What else did you ask for? Nothing.

This is the seed your searching for buddy.

I have seen these grow many times....speaking from personal history.

Yeah skunk grows great outdoors, it is definitely mold resistant,

I have seen it grow buds in rain season, up Northern Australia.

They didn't get moldy.

They didn't however have extremely large yields.

(the plants I saw didn't anyway, just stringy with smaller chunky nugs all over)

I'm not saying that if you grew some they wouldn't be large yielders either.

Some people have said they get massive yields from them.

Just sharing my personal experience, in wet conditions.

thats my 2 cents worth.

OK some good info there, are you talking about skunk1 or early skunk ? I have tried shiva skunk and super skunk which have proved to be very mold prone. Big bud x northern lights sounds good.

Don't forget Passion#1 from dutch passion.

Although it's not a good yielder it is very mold resistant and has a knockout stone.

I've alot of negatives about Dutch Passion, but I can only go on my experience, which was very good.

The only gripe I had was the seeds did look immature, but 9/10 sprouted. Over all I am very happy with DP.

hi i cant get into all the tech stuff but ime an ex chronic smoker but have always been a chronic grower (outdoors only)a few years ago i crossed old faithful northern lights, some hindu kush kush ,some original skunk, and white widow i have carefully kept all seeds and decided 2 years ago to grow the fuckers i live on the far north coast of nsw as you might know the rain last season here was unbelievable .I lost a small amount to mould most of them held up pretty good considering the conditions ,but the kush kush done better than the others lost nothing from them ,good yield and good smoke (so i was told)HOPE THIS HELPS.... cheers

Good question...like I said, I have seen those skunk plants in the wet...

unfortunately, I wasn't with my old friend when he got the seeds.

I do know that friend in particular didn't buy them,

they were from a mate that he had at the time....Soooo.........

Sorry mate, can't give you a definite answer on the Skunk question.
