We need signatures

Has anyone seen anymore details on how this is planned to happen if it even does? I have to admit I'm a bit skeptical on this atm as it seems more like a political stunt than genuine political reform to me at this stage. It sounds alot like citizen's initiated referendums revamped without the citizens getting the referendum.

If the states adopt this it has a better chance at going ahead. The federal governmentt is pack of selfish bigots, they don't care about anything we need, it would take decades to get it passed and this needs to be sorted ASAP. Ive investigated so many ways to put forward an argument for medical Cannabis and this is the only door I can see open at the current moment, because as I said in my initial post, the plans for a trial are already there, we just need to get them off the shelf and put into action.

 

Pardon me for raving Rhyno I just get a bit enthusiastic. I live in WA and would love to help in anyway. I am also a bit out of touch as of course the internet is a valid way of getting the word out.

 

Would also like to put my name down for the trials as have glaucoma and my opthamologist/optometrist have acknowledged that cannabis reduces intraocular pressure and some people benefit greatly from it and approve of me experimenting . Any names and addresses I could write to so as to get on list would be appreciated. Just yell out for help.

I would like to get far more than 10,000 signatures and I'm currently investigating ways to achieve this,

we do this every year at mardigrass and continually at the hemp embassy

I would of course include any pro Cannabis campaigners / lobby groups,

you could have all the signatures you need by may 4th

bring your partition to the nimbin mardigrass in may.,. there will be more that 15,000 cannabis supporters there all week end

I'm a bit skeptical as well to be honest, so I'm not holding my breath and will wait until I can see some sort of evidence that this election promise has gone ahead. There apparently has already been one case with a debate and decision made for mandatory organ donation but as you said, it does seem like a political stunt. So will wait and see...

 

Your post regarding "who" has made the plans, I'm not sure to be completely honest. I read it somewhere but at the time was in a rush and didn't note any names or specific details. I know this sounds vague, but I assumed after what I read that the plans were there. I will try investigate that aspect further.

 

Regardless of wether the plans are there or not though, its still a case I would like to present so will still need to get the signatures at some point if Barry O'farrel comes good. If the plans aren't there though I would consider calling a meeting with anyone who would like to help with a possible concept for medical Cannabis to work. It's food for thought.
