Thanks Nitty

Im not sure which one ya mean mate? one of the weird looking ones from earlier on? I pulled those couple of mutant ones, they were where all those tomatos and the lanky sativa are now. Got about a half off them I spose, just average bush type smoke but was ok mixed with some decent stuff in the vape.

I allmost threw the cuttings i took from those mutants away but decided to chuck the roots under the mulch and see if they lived, they did even after sitting on the ground half the day[i shook all the dirt out of the roots and was going to compost them] They are only small now and budding but they started growing normal looking leaves! Im thinking it might have a bit of autoflower in it and it went a bit spastic with our long days down here over summer[longest in Oz obviously]

Its a big lucky dip atm, kinda exciting and anxious at the same time ;)

cheers

Howdy again, some new photos today..

First up is the red wool bandit, Ive been fighting a battle with spidermites the last week, soap spray, pyrethium and high pressure rinse's seems to be doing the trick. There were no webs, just lots of white/silver dots on the leaves from them feeding. Gave it another good spray yesterday thats why its a bit ragged looking as its just lifting itself back up[i mean a real hard spray with the jet part of a hose gun] Shes a late bloomer, only just started throwing more hairs in the last few days and it has to be strain related because the cuttings I took from it that are in big buckets are developing at the exact same rate, in different parts of the yard.

Next is the one next to the shed...

Next up is the sativa-ish looking one, from mangled roots to one of healthiest plants I have. The bird mesh doesnt seem to have effected it at all which is good considering its hard to see through at any real distance. Might be an idea for the guerilla growers out there, much easier to carry/conceal than chickenwire and might keep out the critters. It would have to be green/camo of course, white fits into suburbia ok though I also have it covering the strawberrys in season.Lots of bending and tying down to keep it below the fenceline.

Next up would have been the stretchy sativa in amungst the tomatoes and corn but it went hermie on me and I pulled it last week, wont get much out of it but it wasnt worth the risk. The wind funnels past that spot right towards the aviary girls so...

Last of the ingrounders are the two sun starved runters, getting their fix of evening sunshine  ....

Now a random couple, what started out as a no dig garden bed has turned into a big arse worm farm. Box of worms went in a couple of days ago. The bits of sheet I cut out of the aviary roof came in handy

Lastly, just for the hell of it and to show the first cuttings I took are doing ok, a sneak peak of some aviary porn

Gday Misty,

To be honest, Im just not sure yet. In the past ive allways been impatient and tended to pull them as soon as possible. But im going to give these ones as long as they need.

I used to go via the colour of the hairs, once 60-70% of them turn brown/amber/red then they are about ready. Ive recently learnt about the different highs from early to late flower, turns out I like the body stone so the later harvest seems to match.

If I had to guess, I'd say anywhere from 1-3months...depending on how fast the late bloomers fatten up and what kind of weather we get.

Lastly Im gonna get one of those little 30X magnifiers/microscopes when i remember and go for a 70% amber trich pull time

Hope thats of some use mate, just talking out my rectum really as im only learning about the finer points of growing recently, enjoying the veggie garden allmost as much as the ganja!

cheers
