Takes a while to get over, just the fact someone has been in your yard snooping around is enough, let alone stealing ya precious plants.[that very feeling stopped me growing for the decade before]

 

In the end I got pretty lucky in that they must have been disturbed just as they found the biggest plant I had and they only stripped a few branches in what look liked a real rush[there were bits of bud everywhere and the branches still on the plant just stripped bare] The reason i got lucky is as it turns out that plant is the best choof by a fair margin, tastes great and the buds are rock solid and stinky. Total dry weight on it was 31oz, so no complaints there.

 

The big girl in the aviary turned out to be a real fizzer, just a cruddy strain im guessing because the 2 cuttings had the exact same buds[real leafy and bugger all trichs] the big one in the ground battled spidermites till the end[i'd get rid of them off the plant then they would just come back from outside the aviary] and its 2 cuttings ended up with patches of powdery mildew because we had a cold damp end to the season. No seeds from them which is good because I dont want to bother growing that one again[allthough it grew very well and was a constant battle to keep tied down,the trunk was coke can sized]

 

Allready given a plastic shopping bag full away[mainly what ya's call popcorn type buds] but when its free no one complains So between what the rippers missed and what I was able to finish in the aviary theres a very good chance I'll never have to buy it again. At least not for a few years which gives me a nice buffer because I dont want to have to grow this much at once again[too much stress] A couple of plants a year from now on to top up the supply should be all i need to do.

 

I ended up with more than a dozen different types of buds, not sure if they are actually different strains they just looked different. Most of them arnt that solid tbh[bit airy due to lack of direct sunlight as well as strain no doubt] I dont think its coincidence the most solid buds came from the plant that got the most sun[bout8hrsmax] and was in the ground. I grew some of the others in 140mm and 200mm pots and I think without constant nutes[i just fed them seasol here n there] they only grew skinny buds that yielded about half oz to an oz each. the ones in bigger buckets, 15-25litres they were a bit better giving 2-3oz each bigger buds but still not real solid.

 

I spose this thread needs some bud porn to finish it off, few of them are mixed together and looked pretty much the same once dry so I just jared them together....not exactly bud porn material I didnt manacure them real close.

But I;ll try and get a couple of decent photos of some of the others, like i say I dont worry about trimming them too close, i dont care what they look like and you loose that leafy taste with vapes I find[i sort of trim as I chop up] I guess it wont hurt to trim up a few buds for a photo op

AH little fucken cunts thats 1 of my main worries about my first grow this season when its about 1 - 2 weeks till tis ready i should just get a little coke to keep me awake and sit infront of my plant with a shotgun every night for the last week or 2 and shoot any fucker that put his head over my fence. haha na im going to lock my plant up in the shed every night but i know ill forget some nights probaly.,

Prob of staying awake for that amount of time naturally increase's your paranoia.......best set up some sort of noise trap.....fishing line attached to bells.

Rub the main stems gently with your fingers & see what sort of smell they have ?

 

Can you tell what kind of plant you have by doing that to any? mine has a very fresh heby smell like...a spicy/apple sorta smell, i'm a first time grower so Im not much of a guru
