ELECTRICITY RUNNING COSTS

Recommended Posts

lol Not conclusive, due to the fact Lutec seemed to avoid the test... but this was interesting reading: http://www.skeptics.com.au/journal/2001/3_lutec1.pdf

:bongon: Another rather disturbing report... http://pesn.com/2005/06/24/9600115_Lutec10...rits_Interview/

Seems these blokes have been making claims while hiding from real scrutiny for quite a few years.

Worst part is the inter-relationships and inter-dealing between people already involved with each other to some extent...

BUT lol And a small but no less accountable but, Leafy, they havent yet been proven physically wrong... as in their machine anyways, even if the basic laws of physics and science discount their work at the very least.

Leafy, you wanna feel pasionate about this machine or don`t like getting shot down..? Could always throw $500,000 at it and see for yerself

Energy can be used to do work at the cost of energy (FULL STOP END OF STORY) All energy we consume on earth is derived from the nuclear energy of the sun. even oil from the ground is actually from the sun.

HOWEVER The closet anyone has come to generating power from nothing was recent. guys got some water to roll up hill (LINK BELOW) on a special piece of material the key was the groves they cut into it. The water surface tension played a role. They think that the energy from the water surface tension was being used to make the water go uphill.

The idea was that if it could be scaled up water could be used to drive generator turbines.

Even this however is not an example of creating energy from nothing. with this example the energy is just coming from a source we previously thought untappable - that is the energy of molecules flowing around in a liquid.

Leafy I have actually read the patent document associated with the lutec device a number of years ago and it actually makes sense under the laws of physics of which I have long been a student. It is in fact not running at over unity. it simply runs at very high efficiency on the starter motor system which starts the spin of the rare earth magnets in the generator stage

Anybody who knows about magnetics knows that a rotating magnetic field can induce a voltage into a coil in near proximity to the spinning magnetic field

The available power produced in the coil ie power = voltage multiplied by current is a function of the strength of the magnetic field multiplied by the power causing the spin of the magnetic field ie the motor. the same power input to a rare earth magnet based generator will produce a much higher power than a standard Nickel/Iron based magnet generator due to the strength of the field. Most generators available are Ni/Fe magnet systems and are therefore very inefficient but cheap to produce.

There is a limit on the strength of the field that can be created in a rare earth magnet for a given mass and that controls the upper limit of power that can be generated from the system. Scaling can only be done on an additive basis by adding more magnets to the system physical limitations on size dictate the upper limits on power from a given size machine. the system is not designed to be cascaded as such but could be used to amplify a small amount of stored energy into a large amount of work

The energy produced by the lutec device comes not as much from the input power of the starter system but from the power stored in the spinning REMs. Though magnets do not "do work" ie produce power themselves they allow when spinning energy to flow from the time dimension into the the other dimensions of length width height of the physical universe thereby obeying the laws of conservation of energy. Energy is neither created nor destroyed just transfered. It is the rotating field that opens the conduit for energy to flow to occur. Stop the rotation stop the flow.

Power is not "created" by this process it simply flows from one dimension to another. The magnets will eventually weaken and fail as the heat generated by the power flowing through the conduit of the rotating magnetic field allows the atoms of the magnet to rearrange back to a non polarized state. The magnets must then be replaced. Rare earth magnets are created by melting the metal like Cobalt which have a polarized atom and then applying a static/stable magnetic field to the hot metal to line up the atoms in the same direction before allowing it to cool leaving behind a solid object with polarized magnetic properties.

The power used to create a rare earth magnet is quite significant compared to conventional Ni/Fe magnet so somewhere down the line you must pay the piper.

The lutec device allows you to obtain an increased output from a localized energy supply no matter what form it takes battery or mains It means you could reduce your immediate hydro power bill by implementing a lutec amplifier but is not really free power and the cost/watt over time must be viewed to work out if it is worth it ie Total cost of ownership. If your aim was to stay under the radar power usage wise it would enable you to do so. Would it save money in the long run? I do not know

The device would add range to an electric or hybrid automobile by amplifying the available power of the batteries/fuel tank by utilizing the power available through the REMs. It could make electric vehicles more viable.
