flatcat_auz
Remember guys this is not the small claims tribunal. No but it makes for very interesting reading............and given I'm in the market for one of these devices very informative.
flatcat_auz
Greetings to All,For anyone tempted to believe the vindictive ranting of "need$weed3" regarding our company and the VapoRite Vaporizers we sell, I would pose the following question: If the VapoRite HYPER is so terrible and so incredibly unsafe as he claims, why did he attempt to blackmail us into sending him a FREE replacement Vaporizer??? The very last thing he would want, don't you think. This person is a liar and a criminal; and not a very competent one at that. He opened the unit; this not only voided the warranty, but is highly dangerous. So it was not surprising that he buggered the Vaporizer by messing around with the internal components; then demanded a free replacement claiming the unit "exploded" while he was using it (impossible by the way). Attempting to obtain goods by deception is FRAUD. Just for the record, so there is no chance for any misunderstanding; ALL OUR VAPORIZERS HAVE A CERAMIC CORE HEATING ELEMENT, PROVIDING GLASS ON GLASS VAPORIZING, THE BEST AND SAFEST SYSTEM AVAILABLE.HEATING ELEMENT DETAILS:The "Heating Element" consists of a ceramic core protected by a steel tube (the core is very fragile). This is enclosed in a silver electroplated aluminum tube. This tube is encased in a pyrex glass sheath to provide glass on glass connection with the glass whip.THIS IS REFERRED TO AS A "CERAMIC HEATING ELEMENT" BY VAPORIZER MANUFACTURERS. If you want to know what more than 100 Ebay customers think about our Vaporizers and the service we provide, please go to the feedback link below and read their comments; and NO we didn't write them ourselves; go to;http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=wade3369&ftab=AllFeedback I hope that clears up a few questions. Best Regards to All, WadeCheating the Hangman. Any chance of photo's of the internals of the unit...................now I know this is asking alot, considering other suppliers have not been asked but i guess it would strengthen your argument somewhat. nekcaw
I opened it after your refusal to replace. Hey need4weed3, So, you ordered a VapoRite Hyper from CheatingTheHangman, it "blew up" upon first use, and they refused to replace it under their 3 month replacement warranty? I find that hard to believe. Very hard to believe in fact -- I've ordered from CTH a few times and their service has been fantastic, and I don't doubt at all that they would happily replace my unit if it was faulty within the 3 month warranty. Were you trying to get them to send it without you sending yours back or something? You gotta send yours back first you know -- without opening it, and within the warranty period. Communicating with respect and some common courtesy might get you somewhere further, too. And I'm sure they would provide a return address without a problem in this situation -- I don't doubt that at all. Come on.. what really happened, be honest. I smell a rat. Anyway -- why on earth did you go ahead and open it? Didn't you see the big sticker saying "Warranty VOID if seal is broken"??? Even despite any apparent "refusal" beforehand (which is quite hard to believe in the first place mind you...). I never said it was unsafe. You never said it was unsafe to open it? Huh? It *is* unsafe to go playing around with the internals of electronic devices :-). Especially 240 volt devices like this. I asked for it to be replaced under your 30 DAY REPLACEMENT WARRANTY. It's actually a 3 month warranty, not 30 days :-). Get your facts straight PS: As for me, I'm a happy owner of a VapoRite and I've had it for about a year now, and it's been working fine every day -- no troubles, still going strong. Good product for a good price. Soon I'll order a VapoRite Hyper and I'll post back with my experiences.

Believe what ever you want dude. I have no affiliation whatsoever with CTH. I'm just a guy in Adelaide who is happy with his vaporiser purchase. Especially when the only vaporiser sold around here that I've seen is one that is of lesser-quality and is being sold at about twice the price (i.e. rip off), and probably will be banned along with everything else in SA. You can't even buy smoke screens here, or anything at all really. Edited May 22, 2009 by nekcaw

Stoned Raider
I found this thread after looking for some info about the Vaporite VR-007 I recently purchased. The tube for the whip has been making an awful oder, like a plastic chemical smell. I thought it would go away in time but it still stinks even when the unit is off. Has anyone else had issues with the plastic tubing on the Vaporites? I'd like to replace the tube with something I know is safe can anyone recommend something from the hardware store? I'd rather not have to buy it online and have it delivered since its only 3 feet of tube. Thanks!
