My new cloning box

Recommended Posts

Hey pipe, looks good may try it myself (after you work the bugs out  ), when you get the air stones dried out next you could try sticking them down with a little silicone.

Just one query, when the clones have their roots, will you be able to get the clones out of the holes?

hit the nail on the head Tom, pulling them out with roots will be an issue. The theory is you only need very short roots or even bumps appearing before transferring to the proper system. Some of the holes are on the small side so I may have some trouble. I was thinking about abandoning the holes in a lid idea and go with rockwool slab on some sort of wire/thin metal mesh. That way you can just cut around the little square around each clone when pulling out. The squares would be an inch by inch

You could try small netcups, im experimenting in a SOG grow at the moment, using a 45 litre tub, with 12 small netcups intop & large airstone underneath.

I have tried the RW slab,.. works well, but very heavy when wet. Im happy to stick with the RW cube in a cloning dome, under 2x30w powerglo fluros, still gets results quick enough for cloning. lol
