Too late to start seeds?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys here is an update of the grow. I'm really pleased with how it is all going. Just one question: there is a moderate trail of black ants around 4mm long roaming aroundthe garden, and about 1m away from the garden is a nest with millions of 'em there. I think the water/fish emulsion/compost attracted them. I have very effective ant killer but don't really want to use it unless it is necessary. I've had ants before that were harmless but never these bigger bush ants, are they destructive? Some bull ant topped and killed a couple of 20cm strong plants so i'm a bit worried ay. What do you guys think of the grow thus far?

To put it bluntly, I wish they were mine

Me too. They are nice little plants Caliban. I wonder when the first buds will appear?

If it was me I wouldn't worry about ants. They are not usually plant eaters (apart from those leaf cutter ants but I think they're in South America). Ants mainly clean up dead things.
