i think adding ACT would be a good idea since it is a state/territory and not having it is probably due your political views that it shouldnt exist as seperate from nsw..

 

...lets not forget though that qld used to be a part of nsw as did victoria....its the states as they currently exist--not as you wish they did!!..history is cool..how many people even know of the state called 'central australia' that existed from 1926-1931?....what about the state van diemens land?..that was renamed to Tasmania?....or newholland which is what Australia was called for 150 years!! ....or the fact that in 1933 more than 90% of west australians voted to secede from the rest of australia?

 

states are meant to be basically countries in their own right with the federal government being there to only create a structure that is beneficial to ALL states(thats my understanding anyway)...territories like the NT or ACT have a lot less power...like provinces in canada...

 

i am an aussie and i would hate to see aussies killing aussies in real life over some stupid politicans policies...not that i think thats very likely..we're too laid back and prefer killing each other on the footy field!!

 

...i think australia will remain a whole country...whereas i think the united states will seperate into three distinct countries within 5 years...the east with New York....the west with california and LA and the south(which has already tried to form its own country)..i think the south will become very poor..almost third worldish....possibly partially as a way of avoiding paying their national debt( the US dollar continues to decline--one aussie dollar is now worth 90cents US whereas historically its been in the70-80cents range for as long as i can remember)...u think thats farfetched?...how many people would have believed the USSSR was due to become extinct in the late 1980's?...hmm!!..thinkaboutit!!

 

sorry if i got a little too political with my thoughts....i have lived in all states in australia except tasmania and i dont consider myself a queenslander,new south welshman,mexican,sandgroper...i am an aussie born and bred long in the legs and stoned in the head!!

I used to hand out the fliers at railway stations on long-lost summer afternoons. Sometimes Sydney railway stations like Townhall and Central.
