My buddy just bought a drone so he can scope out the best grow spots in the area. He jokingly said to me that come harvest time he was going 'ripping crops'. I think (hope) he was joking anyway. Karma bites dudes like this hard, but it did get me thinking. We put in all the effort, the long days, the watering, feeding, monitoring and all the risk, what's stopping someone (or police) employing this crazy cheap technology and having one days risk and all the reward? This boggles my mind as nothing will be truly hidden. The laws relating to drones have recently been relaxed too, making it very appealing for people to purchase one. I'm not too sure about going o…

Hey stoners. The growing season is nearly up n running so its time to get my fingers dirty. Im going back to guerilla this year so iv prob left this a little too late, though i think i mgt still scrape it in in terms of preparing holes and soil. Im not sure on what im going to do though. Its damn near basically sand haha but not quite if you know what i mean. Theres plants growing here ofcourse, but mainly shrubs and little trees and the like. Not too many over 7 ft which is perfect in my eyes as itl give plants pretty much a full days sun. My question is.. Sld i dig say 50lt holes and fill with my own soil? Sld i use 50lt black smart pots above ground? Sld i dig the 50l…

Hi all, Don't know if this topic has been done, but i could find nothing on here re this subject..I have been ripped off in the bush a couple of times, big time, there has been little access to the girls other than through my own land..So i am looking at friends or neighbours..I recently came across those game trail cameras, [ i think the cops use em as well]..Anyway, they appear to be what i need to solve my problem..I'm after any help i can get to decide about the right one..Has anybody on here used them or had any experience with them..Other than being busted courtesy of them of course..I'm not stupid enough to put em near my patch, just near the access on to my land..…

This is a old article from early 2000s but it still seems relevant although the tech has probably gotten better since then. WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT SPECTRAL SIGNATURES OF ILLEGAL CANNABIS CULTIVATION? http://predoc.org/docs/index-199474.html#2435749 Anyways, I have always thought that the outdoor infrared cameras were a bluff. Well it turns out it may not be bluff. It's not flir as flir is only useful at night, and not even Barry cooper of never get busted talks about the method. So basically my question is, is it for real or not? This article is the only piece of information I can find out about it... But surely an ex police officer wold of spilt the be…

Found some really nice hydro of what I'm told is a strain called White Shark. When I got home I find its thrown a single seed! I've oogled the strain and the high certainly matched the reviews so Im confident its White Shark or at least something Skunk. Has that sour taste that I love from Skunk. Anyway Ive decided to keep it as a house plant and if its good clone it next year. I'll throw up some photos when it raises its teeth...At the moment the seed has germinated and its in a Peat capsule till it sprouts. Just need to figure out logistics of this now.

Hi all, I have a bit of a problem with my girls growing in the NSW bush. Actually its a major problem really. I am having insect attack on the ladies that I have never seen before, and I've been doing this since ummm, forever, 40 odd years.. There are dark brown robust beetle looking things eating the bark on my ladies. They are not in plague proportions, just a bug here and a bug there.. Of course I pick em off and squash them. But I can't be there every day, and they are so savage they will destroy a largish plant in a day. They are only eating the bark, nothing else, where they have been, the stem is void of bark for a few inches, effectively ringbarking each stem in …

Might not acheive anything, but this is getting out of hand and I'm out of ideas, so I'm asking for help, advice, guidance or whatever. So far this outdoor season everything just wants to go into flower for me, but it's veg time and that's what I'm looking for. Fair enough, first lot were clones from mature mums that I put out a bit earlier than I should, and an already flowering seed plant that I put out mid August. But I now have seedlings that were put out mid September that didn't hit sexual maturity till early/mid October, and a revegged clone that I put out late October. The nights have been less than 12hrs since all of these have been put outside, and getting …

I found this very interesting read on another forum and thought it was too good not to share. It in no way promotes any sites or anything of the sort. Just some great info for those out there, and personally i think its great to hear storys from these kinda people, without them wanting others to fund thier retirement in some exotic island. Enjoy. Hey all. I've found a perfect location, and now i just need to set up my plot, it's starting to get later on in the year and i need to get this cracking. I have it all planned but just one question, how do you not get lots, where i am going to grow is in some dense bushland, what's the best way to be able to find my location easily everytime and get back? I've looked at a few GPS locators which lock in positions etc they are about $100, is there any cheaper methods or easier ways to not get lost. Any advice would much be appreciated

Hows it goin gents. Just thought id share the grow with use. Started an urban grow near my area. Got 5 bins 60L each. Full of coco peat and abit of potting mix. Got 3 types of strains in there. Got an arjanz haze 1 or 2 cant remember, 2 hawaiin snow first time tryin these ones out and I got a church. Had a northern light as well but it was lookin like it was gona be a male so i pulled the unfortunate sucker. I had much more seeds about 500 kali mist, 20 white widow, some himalayan kush, thai thanic and some others but mum found em and tossed em lolls. My routine is to visit the scene. Usually visit the babies at night. 2 Times a week. Its near a river but some times its d…
