Temecula clinic offers consultations on medical marijuana use Peter Surowski 9 January 2009 Valley News Issue 02, Volume 9. http://www.myvalleynews.com/story.php?story_id=35162 A clinic specializing in medical marijuana treatment has opened in Temecula. This is the first time such a clinic has opened in the Temecula Valley. On Oct. 11, Alternative Care Clinics (ACC), a San Diego-based medical group, opened an office on Enterprise Circle. A first draft of rules of the state
A first draft of rules of the state’s new medical marijuana law incites protest from patients and advocates. Neal McNamara 7 January 2009 http://www.lansingcitypulse.com/lansing/ar...ust-say-no.html The frustration of Desmond Mitchell, a state Department of Community Health policy adviser, was almost palpable at a public hearing Monday morning regarding the department’s draft rules for the state’s new medical marijuana law. Mitchell sat at a long conference table, slightly slumped, as lawyers, patients, advocates, and even one self-proclaimed pot-growing expert gave impassioned speeches about medical marijuana, as if they were being faced with the revocation of thei…

Medical Marijuana Bad?: Oregonian Newspaper Good? PART ONE Dr. Phillip Leveque Salem-News.com 29 December 2008 Phillip Leveque has spent his life as a Combat Infantryman, Pharmacologist, Toxicologist and Physician. http://www.salem-news.com/articles/decembe..._1_12-29-08.php (MOLALLA, Ore.) - The Oregonian newspaper seemingly has NOT been able to print even a neutral article about medical marijuana users or the whole shebang even though they know that over 22 thousand Oregon patients have permits approved by 3 thousand doctors. I have been their target of abuse even though I was completely cooperative with them for a dozen or more stories. The final straw was when Th…

Steve Kubby: How the US Government outlawed a harmless, but potent anti-cancer drug by Steve Kubby December 30th, 2008 Libertarian Party http://www.independentpoliticalreport.com/...ti-cancer-drug/ Yesterday, I received word about a very special lady, who is also my cousin, and who is fighting for her life. Her name is Lisa and she is losing her battle with breast cancer. What saddens me most is that there is an epidemic of breast cancer right now — even though we already possess an effective, nontoxic, and powerful anti-cancer drug that could save her and millions of other women. Right now, we have the technology and peer-reviewed science to save millions of lives w…
