MEDICINAL CANNABIS WARNING / DISCLAIMER
There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

Finally sleeping again
Im fairly new on here but i have been following the forums for a few months now, I hadn't had a full nights sleep for over 10 years until i tried cannabis a few months ago. I refused to go down the path of pharmaceuticals as my dad and grandma have been taking sleeping tablets for years and both have experienced reduced effects. The only option is to keep increasing the dose and/or try stronger drugs. For my whole life I have only tried weed a few times, a couple before i was 18 and once in Amsterdam when i was 26. I didn't mind it but It seemed to put me to sleep every time. This is why i decided to try cannabis instead of pharmaceuticals. I have a smoke about an ho…

Cannabis for hypertension
Hi guys, I've just had a bit of a revelation, thought I'd share it here. I've had hypertension off and on over the years (weight fluctuations and a genetic disposition), and my blood pressure has probably been about 160/90 pretty much all the time, occasionally lower but sometimes even higher. Since I've started using Cannabis (around 2013 I started using it after not having it in quite a few years). My blood pressure has been lower the last few doctors check ups I've had, and I've been confused why, because I've gained weight since starting to use it (oops) and usually that would require me to go back on antihypertensives. I thought I'd do an experiment and m…

SNRIs and Cannabis
Hi there, Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. I'm one of those annoying newbies I've been taking anti-depressants for 10+ years. I've only been smoking the last couple of years. I current take an SNRI anti-depressant at a high/max dosage (only reason being is that my body has only tends to respond to large doses). I seem to have a very high tolerance to smoking. Do you think this is related? Interested to hear from peoples experience taking anti-depressants and smoking regularly/daily.

Wierd experience.
I have been using weed for around 2-3 months (occasionally). Recently I bought a glass bong and proper equipment. I ripped 3 cones of weed in the glassy but this time it was absolutely different. I did the 3 cones and packed up, went inside. Then after about 10 minutes I started to feel the strangest feeling. I felt like I was encased inside my body and I couldn't feel my legs. I remember tilting my head to the side and it felt like my head was tilted moments before I actually tilted my head. My ears felt like they were pressurized I remember my vision was what appeared to be a strange white tinge almost like thin fog. My stomach also felt upset, it was like a burning sen…

Autism & Marijuana
Hi All, This is my first post on the forum. As some of you may know, recently there has been media interest in the medical use of marijuana for autistic childrens behaviour. I am interested in this information as I have a 7 yr old son with severe autism. His behaviour is off the charts...intense anxiety, screaming, all day repetition, never calms, doesn't sleep well always on the move. He cannot be taken out and our family life is suffering. We have tried every medication known to man; Respiridone, SSRI's, anti eplieptic meds, you name it, no matter the dose or combination no changes last longer than a week, and many have bad side effects. We have also tried many alt…

Where do you start?
Hi Everyone, I'm not sure if I am allowed to post here, so my apologies if this is against the rules. I wanted to start this thread, for some advice on where to get started. I suffer from chronic pain from a failed back operation, and have spent the past few years, with the past 6 months more actively looking into cannabis oil for pain. I can find recipes and tips, I can buy seeds of the Internet, I can watch clips with how to grow, how to make, etc etc None of this has actively gotten me to the point of having a regular supply of cannabis oil. I can't cook to save myself, and I honestly can't grasp the concept of making it. I have researched strains, then ty…

Cannabutter in caps?
Hi All, My girlfriend suffers from major headaches due to a small tumor. Her hands shake heaps now when she starts to get them. From the cannabutter of course I have made many things but she hates being stoned. One day thinking about the temps that I use for the cannabutter, I figured most of the THCA was still there and not converted to THC as that would happen in the cooking process. So we have been trying just the butter in caps. The butter has been made from trash, so leaf and steam mainly with bud trimmings and small budlets. Its working wonders!! Getting rid of the headaches and even bringing back her sex drive! (YAY for me ) but also stops her hands from…

Re: Indicas
Hello, I just joined this forum in search for professional advice on strains for certain symptoms. I greatly feel cannabis can help in a lot of ways. I'm in the NSW/QLD bordering area and I would love to talk with someone who's a professional and knows about different strains for various symptoms in my local area for my research and educational purposes. Please drop me a line if you are at gotruski@gmail.com, i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Canberra - growing and advise on dosage
Hi guys/girls, New to the forum, old to the world of cannabis . Just a quick background then if anyone can offer any advise I'm all ears! Just moved to the ACT from WA due to my father being diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemo which isn't going down to well(ended up in hospital for 10 days due to severe reactions) now my dad is as straight as they come but he is that sick he has asked me to locate some cannabis to help him with his symptoms. Unfortunately as I've just moved here from Western Australia I don't know anyone to be able to pop over and grab some stuff for him. So what I've done is bring some seeds back with me from WA, I've done a little research but…
