Hey gidday to you all, I have just returned from the hydro shop and went there to buy oxyplus. I tried Cannazym before and it was crap, It was bloody expensive, didnt go very far and actually didnt work very well. I brought Bio bugs and these were good,But the shop didnt have any and he gave me the usual salesman pitch and I brought the Power active. First impressions are good, as it takes 1ml per litre, and only has to be replaced everytime I change my water which is every 2 weeks. Oxyplus to work has to be added every second day, cannazym is weekly and you use heaps like 150mls per 50 litres or something silly like that. BUT has anyone used power active before? …

Been reading alot over at the advanced nutrients web site, and i got 2 say they really got there shit together with there product lineup. Carnt wait till they get there hole range in Australia, as I would like to try there hole nutrient system. There flore calulator looks unreal and can be adjusted for weeks and litres of tank, very professional. Have allways used General Hydro products, but looking at AN products they could knock GH off there perch. But only a test grow will confirm. Has anyone had any experiance with there products? Jack

I have just installed a auto irrigation system in my micro stealth box. I have looked at a fertigation system but far to expensive for my 20 small girls, so I have tapped into the mains and ran standard garden drippers into each pot then got a digital timer from mitre 10 set it to water for 5 min every 48 hours seems to deliver the right amount of water only problem no nutes. Anyone got any ideas powder sprinkled on top of soil possibly? what? how much? when? Thanks peace..

Here's a good one for everyone. Does there exist any product/s that may inhibit the growth of algae in an outdoor resevoir, without harming the growth of higher plant species ?

I just brought some dutch master hot coco. Basically how do i prepare this before putting a plant in it? does it have to sit for a few days to grow some bio? do i use biobugs type of thing? what to use to prevent root rot in coco. What ph do I use for the initial flushing(it says to run water through it until it runs clears, which I have already done. how about nutes? normal hydro nutes? can I use this in a wick setup where its in a pot which is in a container with 1 inch of water.

OK guys Alot of places I go to know me fairly well. Anyways They almost always give me their nutrients to try out, they always tend to think that I will endorse their nutrients and this will increase sale (). Anyways I have just been given a new Australian Nutrient called "Superior blend" I havent used it yet but it sounds promissing as you can easily use the same nutrient for veg as well as flowering, so you dont need to worry about seperate nutes etc. I feel its possible beacuse they are lacking certain levels of stuff but here goes- lable says" Superior blend, speciafically blended for maximum results everytime. it then says Easy to use 50/50 blend ratio, shake wel…
