Hey folks, been a while since I’ve checked in.. sensational weather here In Sydney this last week! Got some plants out in the sun and noticed yesterday and today their leaves are getting little spots on them and they seem to be getting eated. Nothing too flash going on here, soil is a mix of compost and potting mix and a bit of dirt outa my garden beds. Plants seen to be fairly happy. I noticed this after I did some trimming up of lower branches and some snapping of stems. What can I do to help these guys out. Thanks Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

This little seedling is about 2 weeks old. In potting mix, termed in a jiffy pellet. Has been getting watered with tap water, and had one feed of very weak seasol a week or so ago. I put maybe half a ml into about 6 litres of water and poured it around the edge. Gets watered every 3 days or so. There is a bit of vermiculite mixed into the potting mix, and coconut strand stuff around the bottom of the pot so it doesn't let all the potting mix fall out of the holes. Does it look like nutes burn, or light burn? The tent is sitting around 28-30 degrees, and 35-50% humidity. This one was a random seed thrown in a pot, on the font patio. Germed about the…

Hi all, I started theses guys off but then ended up in hospital ( dam kidney stones), anyways had a mate look after them I can't thank him enough but he may have exaggerated his knowledge a little. At least they didn't die. I think he forgot to raise the light but I'm not sure. Just on the larger 2 he topped them but they seem very " bushy " down low, do you guys think I should remove the larger fan leaves to let so I can even out the top. Or just leave them go and see what happens Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

I planted some skunk in my backyard garden. I cut it and hung the buds to dry and then I left the cut the stem in the bag it was growing in and the weed grew back. This has never happened before and I'm flabbergasted[emoji28]. Can someone give me an explanation. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk The pics Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Hey guys. I am running Reizeger nutrients. Recommended ec is 0.3 to 0.7. Originally I was at 0.7 but burning the tips of the leaves, so flushed and backed off to 0.3. My question is, when do you know it's time to start stepping it back up? If when I test the water and the ec has dropped after a couple of days, do i make the next batch stronger? If it stays the same, keep it at that? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi All Looking for some feedback on the “Yellow Bottle” Bloom fertilisers. Especially the A&B liquid and the ‘Phat’ and ‘Ooze’. For outdoor in pots. Was using the “Flora Nova” Bloom but you can’t get it anymore. Was very good. I like to be organised so making preparations now for the coming season. Decisions.... Hey guys Has anyone ever tried pool filter sand as a topping on coco to control fungus gnats ? I figured it would have good drainage and be quite coarse .. guessing more accessible and cheaper than diamateoucos earth etc .... ? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey crew For anyone interested (know porky asked as well) battling fungus gnats in coco thought I’d start a seperate thread for people to search on topic . Bugs for Bugs Pty Ltd told me to contact them . From EcoGrow , A predatory natural enemy of the fungus gnat that are called ENs - Entomopathogenic Nematode. They are tiny microscopic worms, barely visible to the naked eye. As the name suggests they are insect killing (entomopathogenic). $66 inc shipping . http://www.ecogrow.com.au/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=9 I’ve attached some screenshots for everyone who’s interested Cheers Jimboss Posted from the OZ Sto…

Hey all, I've come home today and I've noticed that my seedlings try leaves are pointing slightly downwards. I'm a total noob at growing so maybe I'm a little paranoid but is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance
