Since I've got my recirc setup I've been wondering the best way to do things. My feeding are only limited to the max number of program sets of my timer. Has anyone tried a fabric pot (was thinking 3 or 5 gal) with all perlite? Would think it would dry up super quick. The feeding frequency would need to be a few times a day but that's OK, the timer would look after that and I'm not wasting any nutes as they go back into the tote ready for the next feed. Any pros or downsides I'm missing? I plan to give it a shot. MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Co2 pumps... 1 2

G'day again everyone... Co2 pump... Looking making my own... Researched a couple of techniques. 1 being the water sugar and yeast method in a bucket with air stone, this apparently will have life span of 2-3 weeks. And the other being coffee grounds with mycelium... Mushroom growing stuff. I'm led to believe that this has a a life span of up to 3 months which would for all intensive porpoises be great. However I'm trying to find mycelium to do the job and if I'm going the right direction for it. Anyone doing same thing or similar at all?

Local hydro guy is pretty good with me recommending products that do work and doesn’t try the whole buy this buy that shit , but he did ask if I’ve tried liquid lead as it apparently stacks on the weight ... wanted to know if anyone has tried it and recommended it or if it’s just another bulltish product Cheers Jimboss Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi I stumbled across this YT video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgt6BR8fzFc&feature=youtu.be Titled Topping and Main-liningI was surprised to see the topping done on a plant so small. Is this topping done at such an early stage with the idea of keeping the plant as short as possible ( one of the reasons ) ? Thanks

There now about day 8 and honestly I reackon there moving pretty slow, not something I want for an auto. I’m keen to make the switch now but any tips from more experienced growers will be appreciated Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey all and thanks for having me over. I know a bloke who wants to grow autos and says that because they're so easy to grow he's just gonna germinate in wet cotton wool, plant them in 5 gallon fabric pots, throw them under some decent LEDs in his garage without the walls. Just under lights with no foil for reflection, and rely on room temp, decent soil, good food and a couple of fans, for the short time they need. His shed gets to around 15 degrees at night and 25-30 without much humidity. I know theyd be better outside this time of year but thats not really an option. Neither is a tent an option. Do you think theyd go OK?.

Hi, I have a small grow, about five plants into week 7, (three weeks into flower) critical mass and gold leaf. Normally the lights are on 12-12 and as I needed to go out by 12, I figured it would be cool to speak in and wake the girls up at 1130 so they get a bit of an early start. Naturally I would set the timer to 1130 and make that the new routine. Just as naturally, I forgot, in fact I left it on timer bypass, until I was driving home from a friends place that I remembered, so the light has been on for24 hours and is just about to enter the normal cycle on period. So, whats the consensus, do I a/ turn them off so they get a little darkness before resuming normal rou…

Hi crew Sooooo to be fair I’ve had some decent runs with coco and it was the first and only medium I’ve used . Had tonnes of fun battling gnats and I know I should have done more (gnat smack, pot socks , more yellow pads etc etc ) . But after a lot of research and lots of questions on here especially to Sedge, cooper , sooty , Merlin to name only a few I’ve thought I’ll give VP a try ! Dwc - had a good first run, but I simply don’t have the time to maintain it . My online fan in the tent stopped working and the water crept up too 29 degrees and caused root rot - lost 3 tie dyes that were 3 weeks into veg . Also had similar problem with my Africa strain - ph dropped , Aq…

I have 6 week old plants (currently in pots) that I'll start moving outside directly into prepared plots on a private property, into the ground in early Nov. I have chicken wire cages to deter larger predators, however I'm after advice on an ongoing plan to deter smaller pests ( mites, aphids, gnats, caterpillar etc). What ( and when and how often) should I start using deterrents to avoid/deter small pests??? I've researched ( but never used) things like silica( to strengthen plants), diatemaceous earth for avoidance, and foliar sprays( detergent, garlic etc), and eco neem, however am interested in a comprehensive plan of if/when, and how to use any( or all? ) of thi…

Hoping some experienced heads can help answer a question on Hermie seeds I seem to be getting conflicted info from dr google ... So a I have a female plant that Hermied due to environment factors not genetics. That plant is pulled out ASAP but still pollinates the other females. Are those seeds feminized, Hermie or mixture of the two? Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

recently(last 3 grows)I have been using two T5 system 4 foot by 4 lights 6500k.Very happy with it as i can even have only 2 bulbs running when cloning. So one of the bulbs blew on me and i thought no worries ill by a couple. The price of the bulbs is close to price of whole fixture which came with 4 bulbs in them.So my hps ballasts can be switched to mh.I have never vegetated with somthing as strong as 1000 watt mh (ballasts are 1000 watt)Anyone use mh 1000w for veg and can tell me how well it works.I would save alot of money in the purchase but would I lose that with the price of electricity running a mh 1000w instead of current T5 system I,m running.
