Light Brown : Pot Outline Green thick Lines : Main Stem Small Thin Lines with Green Balls on top : Fan leafs Yellow Lines : Side Branches Red : Tiedown Metal Hooks (or thread whichever item you use, i use Hooks its easier) STEP 1 : Grow your plant from Seed or Clone to 3 or 4 leaf sets, some use 5 but i always use 3 because after 3rd leaf set the main stem starts to harden and it will be harder to bend over your plant properly without breaking the main stem. STEP 2 : Using a metal hook (i cut small sections of cloths hanger and bend a U shape at the end as a hook) bend over your plant with metal hook at the last internode (space between the last set of fanleafs and t…

Sexing seeds method 2 Having only recently discovered Cannabis on the Internet, I have been going through a very sharp learning curve. I have been cultivating this magical herb in one way or another for 36 years now. In all that time I was basically ignorant of what the rest of the world was doing. I have gained a humungous(is that a word) amount of new knowledge and information about my favourite herb. Yet throughout this huge database of knowledge that I had discovered, I could find no reference to any way of determining the sex of a seed. Now normally you would assume that either I had not searched well enough (and that is of course quite possible) or more likely that…

I want to build a Recirculating DWC system but I can't find any info on how you clean them and such. Is there anyone who can help with some tips? And with a top up res attached to the control bucket - what do I put in the T.U.Res? Weak nutes or plain ph adjusted water? G_M

Hey. I was just talking to my 2nd party dealer and he said that he knew a mate who was heavy in the hydro growing, and said he used mortein in the water. And, people mistake 'laced weed' with weed thats been grown using poison or mortein. Supposed to make real strong shit. N the stuff i get from him, WOW. Sure cant be good for me, but its psychedelic. Anyway, anyone who knows of similar techniques I would be interested in finding out. I just find it a bit strange, AND risky.

Hi Gang, This is a recipe I use for an outdoor grow:- Use roughly 1/3 of a bucket of "old" cow or sheep manure the same amount of compost two handfuls of chicken pellets Place them in a porous bag tie the neck up and soak in 50 liters of water. for about 2 weeks. almost fill a 10 liter bucket with water and some of the brew. add a tablespoon of fish emulsion add a small amount of liquid potassium and the same amount of seaweed concentrate. Now this is far to strong, so put 1 liter into a watering can and top up with water. and bingo. cheers Gills

I just read the post about adding flavors or aromas to your buds during the final flush but I was wondering/hoping someone could speak from experience on the stuff you apparently can buy at the hydro shop. I haven't looked into them yet but hearing from people who have used it before would have to be better than the shop guys hype. Do they mess up your res? Do they actually add flavor to the bud - like, noticeable when you smoke it? Or is it just a fragrance thing when it's in the jars? Jimbo

Hi everyone. A while ago I was asking around what to use as a material for making a growhouse in the backyard. An old fella I know grows prize winning flowers in "igloo" looking greenhouses, quiet large afairs. 20 odd feet tall, 30 or so feet long and wide, in a dome shape. The interesting feature I found is the material is like a white plastic-PVC looking stuf. For pot, I'd reckon plants would do best if raised as high as possible in the arrangement, up on tables perhaps. However he's grown garden vegetables in them, and they do fine. He mainly grows South American plants that don't need lots of light,so it's all moote to him. The old bloke's 96 years old BTW, and if I c…
