Just wondering what the general consensus is when it comes to setting the on and off times when you flower your girls? Obviously going to a 12/12 cycle but does it matter what time of the day you set your on and/or off time in relation to your veg cycle timing? They are currently coming on at 4pm and off at 10am. Is it more important to still go off at 10, or still come on at 4, or does it not matter at all as the plants will work it out after a couple of days?

Ok so I thought I found a herm (still most likely is) but..... I quarantined the bitch to monitor. Now what I first thought were balls, and what everyone told me was balls..... is now shooting pistols out of it?? Can this happen and how? It’s supposed to be fem seeds and this is not caused by stress..... my question is, can a fem seed try to herm out but have the X over power the Y and stay as a fem? Just a quick question. Can you clone a flowering cutting that has been self pollinated? So it’s an intersex female, not a maph. Any info would be greatly appreciated [emoji120] Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

I've been inspired by DoNothingGarden's thread to make my own potting mix for next year's crop. I have 4 worm cafes (from Bunnings) and 2 X 100litre compost bins so no shortage of worm castings or compost. Over the last few days I have ordered: Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss 5mm Scoria Rice Hulls Malted Barley Grain Regenerate Blend Aloe Powder Kelp Meal Neam Meal Crustacean Meal Rock Phosphate Gypsum Mycogold Beneficial Fungi Biochar Fulvic Acid Powder Have I forgotten anything? When I've made the soil up and let it cook I currently plan to plant a green manure crop until I am ready to start the new crop. I'll buy some of DNG's 95 litre fabric pots when they are…

I've got 4 NL fems germed in small rockwool cubes now. Plan is for them to get under a 600w hps. Veg for maybe 4 to 6 weeks then go to 12/12. I have 1gal and 3gal fabric pots which I'll fill with vermiculite and perlite. Theyll be fed by my recirc system which I can time to water however and how much I like. If planted in the 1 gal fabric pots I know they'll dry out quicker but thats OK as I'll just feed more regularly. Should I expect a lower yeild from the 1 gals as compared to the 3 gal pots or similar if I water the 1 gals more frequently? The reason I'm considering the 1gals over the 3 gals is because they sit on the lid of my tote which is used to catch ru…

So should I attempt to fix what I assume to be a manganese deficiency or just leave it until harvest? My guess is 2-4 weeks away but I don’t have magnification to look at trichomes. Slight browning of pistils but not a true indicator. Let me know what you guys think, cheers Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hey guys just doing some random stoner thoughts and am wondering some things about how plants grown in shade behave. I'll sort of know for myself once we get our first harvest done as we've got some shaded plants, but am wondering about others exp too. I understand the plants wont grow as big and vigorous as plants in full sun, and the yield will suffer. But what are the nugs like? Is it possible to create the same high quality nug, albeit in lesser yeild, from a shaded plant? Or will the nug be airy and crap no matter what? Could pruning the plant to such a point that their is only one or two nug growth sites enhance the plant energy going into those nugs making them d…

hey all, after some advice on an outdoor flood and drain set up for next season indoor plan is: seed - mother - clones in 1-2" rockwool outdoor plan is: - rooted rockwool clone with 100% super coarse perlite (large 5-10mm) all around in a 3" net pot in a 20l bucket mounted on the lid for a recirculating flood and drain - area for grow will be up to 2.5 meters high, plan on making a green house with 30% shade cloth and clear corrugated poly roofing questions: would the 3" net pot support the plant ? would a 3" net pot vs a 6" net pot reduce yields? in between flooding i figure the roots outside the net pot will be fine in the bare air in…

Since I've got my recirc setup I've been wondering the best way to do things. My feeding are only limited to the max number of program sets of my timer. Has anyone tried a fabric pot (was thinking 3 or 5 gal) with all perlite? Would think it would dry up super quick. The feeding frequency would need to be a few times a day but that's OK, the timer would look after that and I'm not wasting any nutes as they go back into the tote ready for the next feed. Any pros or downsides I'm missing? I plan to give it a shot. MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Co2 pumps... 1 2

G'day again everyone... Co2 pump... Looking making my own... Researched a couple of techniques. 1 being the water sugar and yeast method in a bucket with air stone, this apparently will have life span of 2-3 weeks. And the other being coffee grounds with mycelium... Mushroom growing stuff. I'm led to believe that this has a a life span of up to 3 months which would for all intensive porpoises be great. However I'm trying to find mycelium to do the job and if I'm going the right direction for it. Anyone doing same thing or similar at all?

Hey crew Anyone used liquid lead in the last weeks of flowering ? Local hydro guy is pretty good with me recommending products that do work and doesn’t try the whole buy this buy that shit , but he did ask if I’ve tried liquid lead as it apparently stacks on the weight ... wanted to know if anyone has tried it and recommended it or if it’s just another bulltish product Cheers Jimboss Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
