hi all I have had six attempts to raise a seedling with no sucess, I had one open and shoot a root but when i planted to rockwool it died - any tips ? soil was moist didnt overwater ???? i am pulling my hair out as i one have one more attempt left then im in a barb wire canoe !!!!!!!!! im new to the forum and joined so i could learn more get some help thanks

Hi, I have some pretty awesome looking clones ready to go into the grow room shortly. Problem is they have grown quite tall about 350mm. They have really nice tops but not much down the stem. How far down can i plant the stem when i do a transplant? If i could go down 60 to 70mm that would be great, but is that going to be ok, or will they get stem rot? Or does someone have another suggie? Cheers.

Hello everyone im thinking of starting a indoor grow box, still having issues. So far i have: A PC BOX Car Reflector Foil thingo Seeds --------------------- Could anyone make a suggestion of what type of growth method i should use : hydroponic / lights and how much would a pc grow box produce? How much would it cost per month ? How can i install the vent system? and how can i keep it really quiet? --------------- thank you.

Yo, just a quick question. Is there any benefit from using a spray bottle of water to mist the leaves of a vegetative plant, whenever you water it? I understand it helps with newly sprouted plants to stop them from drying out but is there any pro's or cons to spraying in the next stage of growing. or is it better to just pour water on the soil.

well I thought I would put this out there. I've been growing flood drain for a few years now, dealing in small quantitys. Here is my system and how much I'm producing. 2 rooms one veg, one flower veg is 8X4 and flower is 8X16 Industrial fans both on supply and exhaugst, around 5600cfm airflow out of both rooms each(recent airflow upgrade not tested yet) veg room has 2 400MH bulbs with lumitek ballests as well as 10 small florecents on a set of cloning racks. Veg room has one flood drain table, 2X4ft and an 80L resivoir Flower room has one 6X8 table with 200L resivoir Both resiviors have air pumps Flower room has 2 600W HPS Bulbs with lumitek ballests I use dut…

I'm doing my first indoor and liked the idea of 5 hours less light on the girls so jumped straight into the 12-1 system. It seems to be humming along really well but as it's my first indoor I don't know if I could have achieved quicker results with the standard 18-6. so if you could let me know if you've tried it and is it as good as 18-6 thanks Puks

alright lads only new to this site, just looking for a bit of info.... im moving over to adelaide in october and i'm a big smoker so i'll be looking to grow me own plant out in the garden as it will be coming into summer and was wondering what is the easiest seed to grow, shortest buding time and just general info on how to look after it... hope sumbody can help thanks in advance... hey guys so I'm doing my first grow and was originally going to do it all old school, veg for however long after my clones rooted, then flower, etc. I'm thinking now switching them (today, 2 weeks into veg) to flower for 5-6 weeks then harvest. ill be doing more clones in the future and heres the plan: for quicker harvests of more smaller plants, 15-20 clones under 100w or similar clf for one week 24/0 after rooting to stabilize then switching those under 2 x 400 hps 12/12 (separate grow areas) for 6 weeks then harvest get clones every 3 weeks to rotate into cfl. my hope is to harvest at least monthly if not every 3 weeks or so I have white widow and strawberry cou…

Hey guys so i got 2 girls under 12/12 with 800w of HPS, I'm also vegging a couple of strains in a cupboard under a 150w CFL ( one of those big mofos from the hydro shop)its a blue light spectrum....i was wondering... when i wake up in the morning i take my vegging plants out of the cupboard and put them into the tent with the HPS and the 2 girls flowering ...just before lights out i'll take them back out and back into the cupboard where they'll receive another 6 hours of light then a few hours sleep, then i repeat the process the next day, can switching these plants light spectrums confuse them/stress them? I can notice good growth when there in the tent with the HPS b…

Was just wondering when you guys back off yer nutes? Do you back them off? Im currently on 2.1 ec at week 4. Using potash and bloom nutes. They are fast becoming the biggest nugs ive grown by far, im hoping they dont end up airy but everything seems to be fine heat, exhuast and RH wise. Was just wondering what week, if you do it, do you back the nutes off? How much do you drop ec wise? Im also going to use pk13/14 at week 6 and drop the potash from then on till end. Hope this makes sense, would really dig some input to help make this a real cracker of a grow. Cheers.

hi recently ordered some beans and got the out door mix, my question is can i grow them in a box that is about 50 cm tall and just keep it on 12/12 so it stunts the growth? oh the box is powered by a 105 watt cfl

hi guys can anyone give me some advise on trimming my plant. i am 3 weeks vegging and 1 week in to flowering. what leaves do i cut of and does it do any harm to the plant. i know i have to thin it for the light to get to the bottom but dont know if im taking branches of that will be producing bud. also is it right that when you start the 12/12 cycle the plants will double or even trble in size ? any help would be good. thanks.

After seeing what my mate grew on his balcony last month and smoking it with delight, Ive realized ive been wasting money on crappy hydge that I never want to smoke again. Hi again everyone!! I'm back I haven't posted for over a year, in that time I have had a few successful grows in my RDWC Cabinet setup But I haven't been using the scrog screen or external reservoir until now. I have made some additions to the system, I have added a water chiller to keep my nutrient a consistent 22C, a more powerful submersible pump to push the nutrient up through the chiller and into the growing reservoir and an additional air pump to oxygenate the nutrient in the external reservoir. ...So basically I'm back to leech some more valuable advice and feedback from the infinite wisdom of Ozstoners!!!
