Hi stoners Ok waiting on my first seed shipment to arrive from bonza! Grow is going to be in a garage . 2 grow tents Main 1x1x1.8 grow tent - 400w HPS , 15cm inline fan clone/seedling/veg is .8 x .8 x .45 "budbox" grow tent - 130w CFL , 10cm pc type fan what do you think the best system to grow in this would be , given its in a garage so temps will be a bit up and down (just a winter grow) and I won't get to check them every day , maybe 2x a week I am thinking of expanded clay pots in a tray with ebb and flow or dripper system or coco with drip both systems offer a bit of environmental protection from the heat/cold and are pretty simple. ive never done a …

Hey Guys I planted some seeds 3 months back and one is growing like crazy (the others didnt make it). I transplanted it straight in the ground with prem soil etc and now is going crazy. I have planted other plants and small shrubs around it to try and cover it from peaking neighbors but with low fences how do i make it not grow so tall? I have a 1.5m greenhouse, would this be ok to let it grow and touch all sides of the house? any tips? also crickets love the plant is this a problem? cheers in advance

Can a 400Watt, 20000Kelvin Metal Halide bulb be used for growing cannabis? I can buy this bulb for $20.00. It has a life of 10000 hours. But, I have not been able to find the spectrum yet. I will call the company tomorrow. Can anyone offer advice on this Kelvin rating before I buy this bulb?

hiya ppl.. just asking if anyone grows in a greehouse as ive got 3 plants going atm, but having problems with Heat, ive added extra vents even fans on hot days i cover with shadecloth yet on a day of 27C temp in greenhouse gets around 45+ so you can imagine days of 40+ will get close to 60 i did try a misting kit but that just ups the humidity it dont do much for temps. the greenhouse size is 10'x8' pitch is 8.2' one side is shaded by trees other side cops afternoon sun & i got nowhere to relocated it. have had a little leaf burn .. atm plants are doing fine i'm just worried about flowering time... http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n494/KRINGLE01/…

hi all I have had six attempts to raise a seedling with no sucess, I had one open and shoot a root but when i planted to rockwool it died - any tips ? soil was moist didnt overwater ???? i am pulling my hair out as i one have one more attempt left then im in a barb wire canoe !!!!!!!!! im new to the forum and joined so i could learn more get some help thanks

Hi, I have some pretty awesome looking clones ready to go into the grow room shortly. Problem is they have grown quite tall about 350mm. They have really nice tops but not much down the stem. How far down can i plant the stem when i do a transplant? If i could go down 60 to 70mm that would be great, but is that going to be ok, or will they get stem rot? Or does someone have another suggie? Cheers.

Yo, just a quick question. Is there any benefit from using a spray bottle of water to mist the leaves of a vegetative plant, whenever you water it? I understand it helps with newly sprouted plants to stop them from drying out but is there any pro's or cons to spraying in the next stage of growing. or is it better to just pour water on the soil.

well I thought I would put this out there. I've been growing flood drain for a few years now, dealing in small quantitys. Here is my system and how much I'm producing. 2 rooms one veg, one flower veg is 8X4 and flower is 8X16 Industrial fans both on supply and exhaugst, around 5600cfm airflow out of both rooms each(recent airflow upgrade not tested yet) veg room has 2 400MH bulbs with lumitek ballests as well as 10 small florecents on a set of cloning racks. I'm doing my first indoor and liked the idea of 5 hours less light on the girls so jumped straight into the 12-1 system. It seems to be humming along really well but as it's my first indoor I don't know if I could have achieved quicker results with the standard 18-6. so if you could let me know if you've tried it and is it as good as 18-6 thanks Puks

hey guys so I'm doing my first grow and was originally going to do it all old school, veg for however long after my clones rooted, then flower, etc. I'm thinking now switching them (today, 2 weeks into veg) to flower for 5-6 weeks then harvest. ill be doing more clones in the future and heres the plan: for quicker harvests of more smaller plants, 15-20 clones under 100w or similar clf for one week 24/0 after rooting to stabilize then switching those under 2 x 400 hps 12/12 (separate grow areas) for 6 weeks then harvest get clones every 3 weeks to rotate into cfl. my hope is to harvest at least monthly if not every 3 weeks or so I have white widow and strawberry cou…

Hey guys so i got 2 girls under 12/12 with 800w of HPS, I'm also vegging a couple of strains in a cupboard under a 150w CFL ( one of those big mofos from the hydro shop)its a blue light spectrum....i was wondering... when i wake up in the morning i take my vegging plants out of the cupboard and put them into the tent with the HPS and the 2 girls flowering ...just before lights out i'll take them back out and back into the cupboard where they'll receive another 6 hours of light then a few hours sleep, then i repeat the process the next day, can switching these plants light spectrums confuse them/stress them?
