well due to a few things going on in my ghetto, i have ended up with a second 400watt HPS and will be losing my cloning gear :thumbdown a long story short, the light and cloning gear belonged to a friend who borrowed my piece of shit car, since i never got the car back, we called it even for the grow gear minus the cloning equipment :thumbdown ok well my problem is being on the dole, i cant fork out the money to buy the equipment for myself and i need to take cuttings within 2 weeks... what i was thinking is buying one of those humidity domes from big w for $20, put a small amount of water in the bottom of it and use a cookie cooling grill to suspend the cubes jus…

Hi all, I have a question about planting clones, I will be ordering clones from just kutz hopefully this week. Now I'm pretty sure they come with roots already started? and they would be in some form of growing material? So when I get them do I just plant the whole deal in my soil mix? or do I remove them from their growing material? (or does this stuff just break down in the soil?) Secondly, I have 20 litre pots that I will be using for the grow, but are these too big to start the clones in? From what I have read there are benefits for both on one hand lots of room for the roots, but some posts say that rootbounding the plants then transplanting makes for the bes…

7 Day old clones, under 20w cfl x2 no roots to be seen yet. no idea of the strain (sry) the rockwool cubes are starting to dry out and the stems are turning purple. Is this normal or is it all down hill from here ? they are largish clones Im misting the leaves with a very weak nute solution. Cant show you pic my hubby has the camera ( grrrr ) One of them had started to sag a bit so I wet the bottom of the rockwool cube, hoping it might only be thirsty.

hey just got my 400w, trying to grow just some bagseed quickly before i purchase some Early Pearl from XPAT, anyone know if this strain is good ? it sounds allrite for my situion, yeild up to 400g, and 200-300cm in height. anyway, i have 2 x 120mm fans setup, which qork very well, im not too sure on temps in there, but theres no way i couldnt have them fans running, it gets way to hot. :thumbdown ok, well.. i got 5 seeds in jiffy pots, (5 seperate) around 10" from my light, out of curiosity today (3rd day lights on) one of the jiffy pots cracked, so i opened it a little to see if anything had happened, and the seed had opened, after this stage how long till it g…

G'day peeps, Got a few beans sprouted and 1 of of the Mr Nice has two sprouts although 1 is much bigger than the other. Any advice or anyone seen this before? Probably fairly common but i don't often grow from seed. thanks

Hey If your looking for free "humidi -cribs" give these a shot. Courtsey of Macca's - frozen Coke container from the kid's meal. Couple of holes in the bottom for drainage, premium seed raising mixure and their off! The seeds were germed in damp paper towel, they sit on the window sill during the day and under a flouro at night. These Shiva Shanti 2 are less than a week old.

Lets see if I can remember how to do this. 3 mothers from med. MJ. and all 21 clones. I couldnt get mothers so added bud shot at 5 weeks this is where they all came from.

how many generations can you clone for ? Ie clone of a clone .... etc . Do you always have to go back to the mother plant ? I will only have 1 grow chamber so no room to keep a motherplant going . So I was planning to grow from seed , hopefully get a good plant to clone , fill the chanmber with those clones and then continue that cycle a few times rather than go back to seed each time . sorry if this is a simple question or I am missing something , I did a quick search and checked stuff like the overgrow faq but didnt find anything thanks :smoke

Hi, I thought I would start cloning myself, only i have no idea on how to go about it. From making a box to rockwool. I got no idea. I want to clone my White Rhinos which are 1 week into the veg stage. What do i need to get to start out and when do i start cloning and how long does it take? I'm going to keep reading other posts on this subject to fill me in more about it, but though i would ask straight out as maybe my white rhinos are hard to clone or something. Thanks, Kel.
