Hi Ime wondering what is the best to plant.....I'm gonna order some seeds and I want a short compact plant for outside.....femalized indica....I have looked at so many I'm confused...I have been growing for years but never had much joy...but its so hard to get seeds I better get it right...cheers Annie

Hey all, first time taking cuttings, they have been in the dome for 3 weeks, no visible roots as yet. I used clonex with the cuttings and they are in ezy plugs. I was wondering your thoughts about the first pic attached. To me it seems like a deficiency, could this be a sign roots are coming? Any advice appreciated! Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi all, new member here and fist time grower. I've picked up a bedside cabinet to make it a stealth grow box in my room. I've bought some osmacote seedling mix and 6x24w Philips cool white CFL bulbs and some festoon light fittings. I have hollowed out the inside and plan to make an oven rack type system on the sides so I can move the lights up and down on racks. I have some plywood that was a shelf in there and is the right width, would 6x24w CFL lamps produce too much heat to have then mounted close to the plywood shelf? I was going to line the inside with a reflective car windscreen cover and mount the lights horizontally with a mirror above them, would an ac…

Hey guys. Just starting out and have been scouring the web for all aspects of opinions relating to growing. One particular topic I can't seem to find alot on, is covering the soil around the base of the plant with a white or reflective ring. Ive seen a few vids where it looks like the grower has done this. so ive been using this 4 inch fan kit off ebaY my tents only a 2x4 foot and 5foot tall,but this fan just doesent feel like it sucks very much at all,like I can barely feel it on my hand at the exhaust hole [yes its flowing the correct direction ] and I only have 1 of the 3 intake flaps open down the bottom and the fan is at the top ,anyone got a suggestion for an exhaust fan that doesent cost heaps ,cheers

hey guys so ,i ordered and received a few seeds from a melbourne seedbank recently to qld ,was all good , got them sent to a different address ,but because im dumb i paid by bank transfer from my account , now im concerned itl come back to bite me in the future in the form of an unwanted visit at some point at my front door if the seed bank ever has to turn there records over to the authorities ,im a normal , law abiding citizen except that i grow 2 plants at a time for medicine for my fucked up back and neck,should i be concerned ps moving to canberra isnt an option for me haha cheers bear

Hey guys quick question I have been trimming for the past 10 days and by now have 30-40 pairs of gloves that are sticky with resin Any ways of recovering that? Looking at the all the gloves there has to be a good amount of hash on them If i was to wash them in a bowl of 100% iso alcohol and then let the alcohol evaporate would that work? I have read somewhere you could freeze the gloves and get it off that way? Any ideas if it can be recovered? Thanks Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

I'm tying to order more seeds in Aus during the last week. Can't access the SSS site at all, the Aussie Canna site says it's under construction ( only selling hats and toys) and nil response to 3 separate email orders I sent to Dinkum seeds. Yantra is the only site currently working ( and I have an order on the way). What's going on with these other sites??

I know you folks get asked this ALL the time, so I do apologise in advance. Sorry. This is my first grow and would like to know if you can tell me if this is close to harvest. Background: Strain: Auto feminised Northern Lights. Grow time: 11 weeks Flower time: 7 weeks Issues I have had: Fungus gnats: Didn't even know were a thing until they were in numbers, Knocked them back with sticky traps, cloth on top of soil with sand cover. Problem was they still seemed to use the holes on the bottom of the pot. SO used H2o2 and smashed them all. Some leaves started to get brown/yellow spots. Hi all I mucked up SCROGging my plants, see below pics .. and have my two lights now attached directly to the top support bar of my tent. I have two weeks left 'till harvest (I suspect longer due to all plants still having clear trichs) and am unable to lower my plants again, so have turned the ballast down to '400W' instead of 'super' setting I would've had them on if plants were not so close to lights. I have 2 x 600W HPS Cultiv8 lights .. with fans running both top and bottom of tent. The pic doesn't show it well, but I can stand up under them, I'm 168 tall .. He I'm in my 4th week of flower , I'm outdoor in geo pots and it rained and all my branches with Budd dropped down and are no longer growing up ! Will this effect my yeild ? Will they recover !

Anyone shed some light on my situation. Got roughly 30 seeds from seedsman, germinated and most were good. Planted 24 seedlings, it long after they just started dying,in the end I had 3 large plants left a few weeks ago. My biggest plant died last week and my last 2 are looking average. I used a different potting mix this year and I think that might be the fuck up. It was a expensive Bailey's with slow release fertilizer. I've up loaded a couple of pics of the last one alive.
