Getting resin the the gloves when trimming

Hey guys quick question

 

I have been trimming for the past 10 days and by now have 30-40 pairs of gloves that are sticky with resin

 

Any ways of recovering that?

Looking at the all the gloves there has to be a good amount of hash on them

 

If i was to wash them in a bowl of 100% iso alcohol and then let the alcohol evaporate would that work?

 

I have read somewhere you could freeze the gloves and get it off that way?

 

Any ideas if it can be recovered?

Dont use plastic gloves and ya wont have that problem.

Someone once suggested freezing the gloves and the resin might come off easier. Haven’t done it myself though. Let us know how you go

Yeah I reckon either 'wash' them all in ISO then evaporate the liquid until you have oil pretty much, or some say put in deep freeze then try and break /crumble off the frozen stuff.

Only problem with the freezer is as soon as you take em out they start to defrost pretty quick cause they are only thin plastic and the frozen stuff will go gunky again if your not quick.

That's why I reckon it's better to wash em all with ISO then you get everything.


I do a similar thing with my hand grinder every 3 months I wash it in ISO cause it's so gunked up and then I evap the ISO and have some hash oil looking stuff leftover.

I don't use gloves. I just scrape it off me fingers when im done.

Tryed Freezing the gloves and it works well

 

But i found out if you use nitrile gloves instead of latex it does not stick to them as much. What it does stick it is easy to peel off without freezing.

 

So nitrile gloves are way to go in case anyone else runs in the same problem as me:)

gently remove the gloves so that they are inside out then freeze and when you again gently put them back the right way around the resin should come off in little clumps

I got some nitrile gloves I used for trimming last week, stuck pretty good to the fingertips. I'll give the freezer a try, regardless beats haaving sticky and smelly hands for weeks
