Hi all, I've been trying to soak up as much information as I can about growing and I'm taking my first steps to making it all happen. The influx of information has been completely overwhelming which I'm sure it was for you all when you first started so I want to make my first grow as basic and stress free as possible. Righto new GM digital aqua pro conductivity meter showed up Friday but had a flat battery wasn't going for a 45 mins round trip to get a battery so picked one up today. So have it a run to see what our tap rainwater reads at and it came up at 19 microseimens. Cool but how do I use that info to mix up my nutes to a set EC level? Or am I over thinking this shit. First off ive just changed from having led on its side to seperating both plants so one is under led and other cfl Led is my clone Cfl 125w is my grow from seed The led is apparently 1000w but im unsire on accuracy, it has helped them bush out when ir was on side, but now im interested in seeing the growth differences, anyways, thiughts on these distances?? Hi All, first time grower here, im trying to collect and by things that i need to grow but i tend to overthink as its my first time and don't really know any better been watching and reading how to grow but got confuse in the end??. would really appreciate some little advise from the 420 masters. [emoji1] below are are things that i already bought - viparspectra 900w LeD - 100 x 100 x 200 grow tent - organic soil / organic seed raising soil - pot - perlite - seaweed extract - fan - fan filter duct system 8" - acurite contemplating on the 900w LEd that i bought? i think its a bit overkill? planning to plant 3 seeds i guess? i know this is a dumb question but…

So I’ve been researching abit to upgrade my current setup. Currently have a small tent 0.5x0.9x1.6 and and 250 hps. I’m able to flower 3 autos quite effectively in that space. I have a cool tube and im able to hold my hand on the glass of it so heat is nil factor. I’d like to upgrade to a 1x1x2 m tent. Was looking at those mars hydro 2 700 or 900 setups. The 700 for example says it will replace a 350 w hps. I’m not real sure as to what the advantage over a hps is as it also says it pulls 300w out of the wall anyway and will prob heat the tent up more than a hps with a cool tube. Am I missing something with these led lights? Doesn’t seem like they would be much bette…

Hi all, I'm a new grower, and have 2 Celtic Stones (from seed) growing in 10" pots under a 400W HPS in a 1m x 0.5m x 2.1m grow area in a cupboard. I'm using an Autopot system - being a newbie, i like it's simplicity, and will see how it goes. It's my first grow, and I'm very pleased so far ( and nervous). I did have a germination problem which means the 2 plants are 10 days apart in age. I assume this won't matter later on. What I want to do with the CS is tie the 'ladies' down, which I've come to learn as LST. I've done a fair bit of reading here and elsewhere, and I think I have the basics covered.
