hi guys. i have just finished my first grow a month or so back. results were good but the grocell tent i was using already has a broken main zipper. so my question is what brand of tent do you guys recommend me to buy that will last? im looking at a gorilla tent but are they worth the extra money? i would rather buy once cry once (to late i know).

Hello, Does anyone here use environmental stress or nutrients to intentionally change the sex of their own plants to male? If so, how did you go about it? I've only managed to create hermaphrodites and sadness. I'd like to try and create my own seed from a particular mother plant I keep, by turning some clones into males.

So I'm following a guide that uses cfls and coco coir as well as nutrients it says i need to make sure I get 20% extra run off of water every water, what kind of pots would allow me to get this runoff ? I'm going to be growing in a small tent, still undecided whether i'll use auto's or photo plants all help will be much appreciated! I'm a total noob so there will be a ton of questions.

While I wouldn't want to be a regular poster on this thread I'm wondering if anyone has any failed grows they have to tell us about and what they would do differently because of what they learned. I watched a sad grow on youtube and to his credit the guy has left it up as an example. I can't figure out what he did that was so wrong and I think his end result while it wasn't a normal win, still generated something interesting. It was so interesting I think in his position I might have moved one of the plants outside to see what became of it. It looked so uncannabis like ie a weeping plant that it could have gone stealth till it got to where it was wanting to go. H…

For any keen grower with a few spare minutes, this video is pretty interesting. It was captured with a Xiaomi Xiaofang security camera featuring IR night illumination (doesn't seem to be doing the flowering plants any harm!) so you can watch the plants grow in the middle of their night. Mostly a bag seed 5L hempy bucket/SCROG (far corner of the tent) from F19 to F26 with a couple of other smaller hempy pots at about F9-F16. The main hempy bucket shows the development of 40 or 50 flowering bud sites and has a 1ft by 1.5ft steel mesh screen buried under the canopy. Apologies to anyone who is seeing this for a second time as I’ve asked the same question in my journal but not everyone follows the journals so I thought it could be better asked here. Anyway I have some autos in veg at the moment. The plants are healthy but seem to be very much growing out rather than up. My light schedule will be the same throughout the entire grow at 20/4. So basically I acquired 4 clones a few months back I straight away put them outside in coco they started to grow well and about almost 2 months ago it started to flower early. I was confused because the daylight is getting longer and I assumed it would just go back into vegging. The longest it seemed to go into flowering was about 3 weeks and it’s just stayed sorta like that for a good month now I’ll put up photos if someone could shed some light as to what the hell is going on with them please let me know. Are they going to keep this weird flowering that doesn’t seem to get any bigger or fatter or is it trying to revert back to vegging ?

TGIF Yay its Friday so what are you upto ? I spent the day rolling some joints and making some oil for next week. Been a bad day weather wise with rain and wind and only 14 degrees so why not get rolling Got my meds for Monday ready, not looking forward to driving 3 hours in peak hour traffic in a V8 manual ute into the city changing gears 500 fkn times but should be fun and a change from country life. Hey guys, I posted here earlier this year for some advice on my 1st grow, unfortunately there was an unexpected medical problem and I was unable to continue. I still have most of the seeds I bought then, unfortunately IDK which are which. They are all Southern Star strains: Rhino Cookies (GSC x White Rhino), Texas Guinan (ECSD and Mr. Nice Mango haze) and Nice Chunk (G13 x Hashplant x B-Chunk) If i had to guess i would say it is the Rhino Cookies but only because of the extremely chunky fans and tight inter nodes.
