hey everyone, it has just been put to my attention, by the missus, that i spend too much time with me girls. i can't help it i told her .' i've gotta keep an eye on em' you know for hermies and bugs and stuff.'but in reality i think i'm just hooked on growin.i can find myself at times going over each plant for 15 to 20 mins .in the end i would probably spend a good 2 to 3 hrs a day with them.(not counting watering time) what do you think. do i have a problem? is there any hope for an aging hippy.or should i just not give a shit and just go and have another couple of pipes! does anyone else think about their babies 24/7? most night i even hav…

I have a question i am recently transplanting my clones to the flowering room, they have been transplanted about 24 hours the p0lants are not standing up staight they are slumped over, i have given them a little dose of water and fulvic acid also i have them growing in promix and earth worm casting, with a little coco. The light is 1000watt i have the light about 5 ft above the clones to keep the heat from being so strong also i have a small fan osculating over them, any suggestions?

Hi all. Great site! I'm an ex-Pom. Been here in the land of Oz many years. In the U.K. I have heard of people grafting a hop vine to the Marijuana plant. The hop vine will grow looking like a normal hop, but still will have as much THC as the weed it was grafted to. Tricky for the Cops to detect. Apparently it tastes like hops to smoke, but it will get you just as stoned as weed. Also good for brewing Cannabeer. Anyone heard of this? Any tips? Cheers All

The night before I took my last bunch of cuts I had this little pot half full of potting mix and perlite that I'd pulled a cpasicum seedling from. So I cut a little branch off my mum plant, using only blunt dirty scissors, then I cut the bottom off on an angle, holding it in the air, not under water. I shoved it in the pot and covered it with glad wrap. I poked 6 holes in the top with a poker and put it in a saucer of tap water on the window sill. 3 weeks later it has heaps more growth than my scientificly cloned cuttings, has a massive root system for the amount of time and it never even looked like it was going to go the tiniest bit yellow. I've been germinatin seeds for a long time, and over that time I've had like 2 not germinate. I usually presoak then into rockwool cubes. I use distilled water, keep em warm etc. I've never had a problem till - Recently I got some Sensi NL, and went about germing them. Out of 10 I had 2 make it. A couple didn't crack but the others were all the same. They had a little tap root coming out, but it had gone brown and they died. One of them even cracked in the soak and had a tap root after a bout 6 hours, but after it went into the block - nothing. G'day all .. I've been snipping branches from a well established outdoor plant (grew throo' Winter) and trying to get them to root. I read an article on the Overgrow FAQ years ago that advocated water cloning. I'm not having much luck with it. Can anyone recommend simple ways to get cuttings to shoot that doesn't require aftificial light, rockwool and so on. I can propogate basil just by plonking it in a glass on my kitchen bench - why is cannabis harder ? Or am I missing something obvious ? I've seen rooting hormones at the local hardware - how do these work ? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

my mate has his crop growing. It's about the stage where the plants are starting to show their reproductive organs. Does the male plant contain enough THC in the leaves to make you high. We would like to keep some leaf to make hash cookies for an all day buzz. We would like to know if it is worth taking the leaves off the male plant to make some leaf before we destroy them.? Also if we were to keep the male plants just to get leaf, how far away should we move them from the females to stop them from recieving the pollen.?

hello fellow growers, need some first-hand advice please i have some babies raised on 24hr light, now i want to take them outdoor (14hr light) but want them to keep growing for bout 3months will this work or will they go to flower sooner? anyones advice gratefully received. Bonging out

Greetings, I just switched some plants into 12/12. One strain, Dutch Passion Orange Bud has 4 plants with male-looking preflowers. Three others have female pistals. I don't want to pull the "males" just yet after reading that some male looking preflowers can turnout to be females after 12/12. Is that true in your experience? Can male preflowers release pollen? I never really paid attention to the preflowers in my previous grows. Thanks for any feedback!

gudday,i took some clones off a reveging,outdoor growing indica yesterday.i'm just doing the old coke bottle method. are they getting enough fresh air each time i spray them.during the day i give them a good spray every couple of hours and a couple of times at night this is the first time i have taken mj clones,i've tried to find the answer,but most clones seem to be taken from mother plants that are grown under lights and not grown outdoor. thanks heaps

hello fellow growers,what r the best methods for hooking up a drip system for outdoor growing as wanting to use 70 to 100 litres drums per plant as visiting plants will be kept minimised by a fair bit,can this be done,is this wise as dont want dead plants next time i visit ,bonging out.

hi all... well there is hope yet.as some of you know....i had a nice crop going, only to have it stripped by some lazy fucker that cannot b bothered growing their own.25 2 and a 1/2 ft plants, and abot another 20 seedlings.all gone cept for one plant and one of the seedlings....thy missed these.we r having really good growing weather here in brisbane at the moment so this has set me back a bit. but someone on ozstoners has come to the rescue!!!!i won't post the name for security reasons....but thanku all cause i wouldn't have met up with them if ozstoners wasn't around! my basic plan is this...i expect to recieve seeds wed/thurs....and i will germinate them straight away…
