Hi all, I just want to get the safest tds reading. I'm ready to add my flower nutes and was wondering what the best range to start off would be. I try to keep my ph around the 6-7 mark(cant be exact with the liquid measure). I have read to keep ppm around 1000, Would this be a safe starting point. With my last few grows i was using what the bottle said and what the instructions to my system said, When i got my tds meter i realized my ppm was around the 1800 mark. Everything grew well but was all unknown bagseed. Now that i am growing strains which i know, I dont want to risk overfert. Any help here much appreciated, Thanks heaps, Paranoid.

I've noticed one or two posts where PH levels have been mentioned which seemed to be incorrect. I've sourced the following charts for PH levels in Hydro and Soil and the availability of Nutrients at various PH levels The charts have been kindely provided by St0ney at Marijuana.com\Operation Overgrow

If you have the space and can do this without raising attention of neighbours a good way of providing c02 enrichment is to shut down lights and fans and gas them with a lawnmower or rideon lawn mower as its in a confined space and omits nice amounts of co2 to plants.Turn fans on about 30 mins after carbon has settled(leave mower on near grow space for say 15mins.

Hi everyone Its good to be here. Im from Canberra where there is a good weed scene & top pot I was wondering what yields people were getting in what spaces or under what lights. I heard of someone getting 38oz from 1600w, is this good? What do you reckon? Smileing Paul Warner Esq.

Can someone please tell me how a capillary system works? I havent been able to find any info on it. The system that I am interested in using due to how cheap it is to build/setup uses this method. So any kind of information would be appreciated. Cheers joedave

I just planted some more seeds in seed raising mix and I usually leave them outside to sprout but just to be on the safe side Ive decided to keep everything out of site from now on. I water them and keep them in darkness till they hit the surface and this time I want to place them under a 200 watt MH to veg when they sprout. What distance is advisable from my light without causing damage? I also have a "Compugas" co2 injecting system....will this be any advantage to the seedlings at such a young stage? Buddy.

I just received some wet buds from a friend. He had chopped them taken all the buds from them and given them to me. They are really sticky hehe. Whats the best way to dry them now? I have them in a computer case with an exhaust fan circulating air thru it. I have read that they should of been hung upside down for abit but I can't do this now. Any ideas?

How would I go about creating a reverse vacuum for the exhaust fan? is it easy to do? is it dangerous? I seen this mentioned in another thread but did not give any details as in how it is done.

Anyone used a carbon scrubber before and how effective are they really. I have read on OG they remove all the odor. But weed in flower pongs. I have seen a design that requires a really large box so there isnt back pressure on the fan. I have an option of removing the odor outdoors but I'd like to remove as much as the smell as possible. I am planning a drying area near my odor control in my cabinent so I dry aswell without worrying about smell. Can anyone shed their opinion or experiences on this subject. Cheers
