General Cultivation Q&A

Hi all, first time posting here so respect to you all, your tips have taught me heaps! Anyway im setting up a new growroom in the spare bathroom of my new pad which already has a small exhaust fan. I was planning on using this as well as a small desk fan. My question is; im always reading about inlet/outlet fans and seeing growrooms with lots of exhaust piping, im only planning on a small grow (2-4), will the existing fan be sufficient or will I have to upgrade the fan system? thanx -cheebafan

just wondering what some of you think would be the best way to handle this stem here... split a week or even more ago and i've just left it, growth stopped temporarilly but recently has started again, showing new tips as the older ones die off, what to do ? it got split by pushing up on the net and being bent over with the intense sun just split i think... not much more i can say... picture speaks a thousand words...

Swing is thinking using "cana coco" as a medium, in a bucket flood/drain setup, anyone ever used canna coco with Canna Coco nuurients? Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks

lets say you have 10 seeds but want to create more and planted them and got all fem's(shure you are lucky) so as to have more stock of the exact breed if you where to stress a female and turned it male would the seed from this male you have made be the same/similar as mum .if not why has any body done this and have had no probs or very few.i only ask this question for we are not always lucky/unlucky to get a male to collect seed to share with ppl that you can not give clones to or if you are not able to keep a mum for further use.thanks for any help.happy herb.

hey guys I'm Not a experinced grower or even attempted to grow exellent weed before. however i want to start a fairly large indoor greenhouse to produce Strains of Indica , Crystalised bud , northen lights , orange bud & high grade skunk . I know pollen can be stored in the freezer...but for how long can it be stored for ???? Any help would be much appreciated....

Tip you plants regularly after say two new sets of developing leafs,where you tip,instead of having one node u will have 2 nodes and tip them 4 nodes and so on. Peace

I got my 3 spc clones last week and i have killed them all!!!!! Its the first time i have used rock wool and i think i have under estimated the amount of water it can hold. When i pulled them the roots were all brown not the normail white. Is this root rot?? They are under a 400 hps light at least 1 m high ( so i dont burn them) I have the other 3 comeing soon and dont want to fuck them up as its cost me 200 buxs. Help me please. sab

Hi all, Need some help here on what pot sizes to use from start to finish. I have no idea as i've never grown in pots, Always straight in the ground or my airo. I've done a bit of hunting about but my brain(or whats left of it) doesn't understand the ol' gallons to litre change. Space is no probs at the moment and i grow under a 400w hps. Any help much appreciated, Paranoid.

Hi, I am a newbie but, A couple of years back I had a plant in the cuboard and a growlux 150watt light on it... It grew to around 3-4 feet in about 2 1/2 months 24/7. Then I switched the cycle to induce blooming... anyhow I got sick of waiting and a bit paranoid about the smell as i was living in a 40 unit building.... I ripped it out of the soil (fert'd with fish emulsion) and dried it in the griller, just when it was getting the first nice tips forming... well what a dissappointment that was!!! I didn't even get stoned of the shit!!!! What I was wondering was... is this a common scenario with a hydro/light setup?? If you've ever had sumthin like this happen plz let me…
