im having trouble keeping my temp down,, it seems when ever the wheather is hot like the last couple of days the cupboard temp rises, i have got 2 fans in their going hard, i set one both up to extract but found temps got worse, so one is extracting , one blowing it keeps it down a bit more but, temps still 29,30,31, i use a digi thermomter and its accurate, should i whack another fan in, i have one more, i original bought three, its gonna come into winter soon, an i dont think temp will be a prob then , but in the meantime, what effect does higher temps have on my little babies , overanout

i know its early but i was wonderin,whats some good media, an how expensive is it,im gonna buy an easy to use one, im normally a soil guy, but im gonna change my thinking,well im changing my grow style so im gonna go with a more hydro freindly media,am also looking at get a hydro setup, kinda like toms going,something that will drain quickly and not hold water/nutes for too long,but im kinda stuck with a couplea things for the setup,if u guys could help much appreciated,as im off to the hydro shop in as couplea hours ok heres where im stuck, when plants are old enough do u run a nutes mix all the time in hydro? if not how long do i run the nutes for?,and do u water them w…

well, ive done it, it took most of the arvo, but ive knocked up a hydro set up,,i have abandoned previous plans of hand watering,and this is how im gonna learn to grow indoors, i still like soil,an handwatering, but for my mullies, i think this might be easier in the long run an will be easier to work the nutes, i set up a resouvoir kinda like toms, with a line that runs around my cupboard with drippers,that will feed into the pots an plants then there is a tray under them ,that will empty back into resouvoir, i decided to let the tray empty back into resovoir cuz i didnt want floods and i couldnt really fit big trays in the cupboard,the trays are kinda like kitty litter…

Hey all, nice oz community you guys have got going here I wasn't too sure where the best place for this post would be, so this place will do! Has anyone here had experience in growing large amounts of plants in a caravan? What do you think of the idea? I'm thinking of setting up around 200 SoG clones in a 24 footer, on 2 8x4' ebb & flow trays. Space will not be a problem, I'm just going to buy a cheapo van and renovate it (i.e tear the shit out of its interior ) so it is simply one single large room. Any suggestions you can think of with this one? I'm going to spend ages planning it so any help at all will be taken into consideration

I've been giving serious consideration to building a DWC system for the next indoor grow.... I've had a look around, and there are a few questions I wonder if anyone here can answer. Firstly, if all else is equal like light and temp, strain and so on, then is there any appreciable difference in yeild, potency or otherwise between growing with DWC and growing in a well managed, sterile medium (be it perlite, grow rocks, or anything else like that that goes in a pot...) with an airpump in the res? I mean, if the point of dwc is that you get more oxygen because the roots are in a highly oxygenated solution, wouldn't that also apply if you watered with a highly oxygenated…

I have decided to update my growroom ,i need to do a couple things.At the moment i have an excaust out that is on 24hours ( for about 3 years now) and one passive vent inair,and oscillating fan.I want to up grade the air thing,I want to buy a centrifugal fan and pull fresh air in and maybe upgrade the excaut fan too. Can someone tell me,how do i get on in winter when it might be 2c outside (shed) with that air coming in? And if you say turn it off what about air in? Hi, i heard you can get seeds from your buds if you leave them on your tree longer My questions are: 1) Does it have to be Hermie to produce seeds this method? 2) How much longer should i leave the buds.

got some 4 week old plants just experimented a bit with 3 of them, topped 1, tied 1 plant down, and trimmed 1 plant back a bit which is growing some double leaf type thing i left on. done march 20 will have pics soon of this outdoor grow there getting every bit of sun when there is sun, there in a real good spot called my backdyard and my parents are pretty cool with it . have some pics soon and see how the progress is going...

Anyone know about multi-rooting systems, having 4 or 5 root systems for one plant. Seen one a coupla weeks ago, "AWESOME" ! Its where main stem goes threw about 4 or 5 rockwool cubes each one spaced and producing its own root system. (we all know about healthy roots etc.etc.) My mate got idea from old Easy Rider mag. (memories t-boat ), works a treat. Also on same plant/plants 4 inch rockwool cube on unwanted branch been scraped and root juice applied and secured with zippy clip with roots coming from bottom (ready to be lopped off for biggest clone you ever did see) :mellow: cheers, beers an cones Mozz

a quick question,,,,,, any tips for nutes, and do they clearly tell u how much to use,,, there are so many, the shop i went to had a range,,,like canna, ozcanna, budlink,headon,dutchfest,kabloom,and the list goes on, but when i was asking the fella he kinda said ,well there all good, and will proberly all do what u want them to do, but the did vary in price, and some were "a + b" nutes,,,, i dont really need professionaly results,, just nice and healthy,potent plant, with nice buddlys,, plus an easy one to use would be nice, i dont need things getting too fiddly or confusing,,,,, also i will be hand watering the plant, and is it cool if when u hand water the nutes, can th…
