General Cultivation Q&A

I use bio, which is kind of a step back from organics. Anyone who knows Tick on overgrow would be aware that in the right organic soil mix you only need tap water and a few foliar feeds per ggrow to produce awesome clean buds. I am getting more and more tempted to go back to this method (it's how I began) but for 6 - 8 plants this is a lot of soil mix to deal with and be throwing out in an apartment on the second floor. I used to only grow a couple of little plants like this. Any of the OS crew grow this way? Any thoughts. I like the idea of doing away with the res and pumps, etc. Just thinking. Vazganic

OK I have $80 - $90 to Spend on seeds. Can anyone recommend a strain from AUS co or MJOZ. Im planning on growing inside, as I just moved off a farm and Only have my Computer room wardrobe space(Il take measurements tomorrow). My family know nothing about my habit and Id like to keep it that way so I need a plant that’s small, potent and has not much of a smell. Id also like to have a high yield (I know, I know, I want everything). or if possible a potent fast growing plant (Id mass grow it so no need to worry about the smell). how often do you guys do a run off test on a coco pot?And what is normal CF/EC readings ? Regards Kash

I'd just like some feedback, I'm 40 days into flowering WRhino,SK#1 and a couple of unknowns all powering!! I'm ready to start flushing, but this time i will drop the ec: ppm to 4-500 ppms.However i 've been told of this particular method. Use warm water adding only OZI TONIC witch is the brother of Monster bud.Also making sure the PH is kept 5.2-5.5.Using the OZI TONIC its completely organic.SO mix the Ozi with warm water keeping the EC ppms downto4-500ppms. Has anyone else used this method.Cheers!

G'day, yep, this is my first serious attempt at an indoor grow.. After reading some posts by white cluster regarding DWC, I've decided to get some opinions about this... I was going to go with some hot cocca coir and one of those new german drippers (they only drip when media is drying out). Billions of the little black mutha's. The Gnat's are American for Fly's.They totally infested my first crop. You could see the young "hoppers" in the thousand during the flood skimming on the surface. When I moved a expanded clay rock I saw little black flys and larger white wrigglers escaping to the lower levels. Since my crop had just been sprayed (and shocked by) for the ratty spider mites with mite spray I was reluctant to soak my plants in the white drench stuff to kill the fly's. im sorry if this is in the wrong section but this may sound like very stupid questions but i left school about 9 years ago so my maths is very rusty .... how many grams = 1 ounce ? and how many grams = 1 pound ? i always see some seedbanks saying a certain amount of grams a plant 'should' produce but i have no idea how much that would be but i can kinda remember the size of an ounce thnx
