Planted one seed in this pot, there was only one sprout for the last two days, checked them before I went to bed and there was only one. Checked them just then(12pm) and I have a second sprout in there. Do I have twins?

hi guys, hope everyones well. few quick queries - i've got 4 25l round buckets (bout 2 foot hight) wondering if they'll be ok for dwc? the lids fit a 250mm net pot nicely, but are they too deep? in a shower recess roughly 3 foot sqaure 6-7 foot high, will one 600w sontagro hsp give sufficient light, and importantly will it burn my place down without ventilation? if so, any suggestions for venting it? lastly, i scored a load of expanded clay balls for free, will this gear be fine as a medium for dwc? i was just gonna fill the baskets with it? any suggestions for easy 1mix nutrients (dunno if the medium affects the nutes?) met a guy last nite who's harvesting abo…

Ok, my plants are now a week into 12/12. They're a good 2ft high, in a recirculating set-up. I have expanded clay in sattelite pots, and I have been root pruning, last time was about a day before I turned them. They are re-vegging from my last crop, so I knew the root system would have to be kept in check. I had 2 drench for scarid fly, so I had to do my tanks last night. Everything was fine before, draining properly. Changed the tanks, mucked around for a bit and then hit the net. Would have been maybe 1/2 an hour later, I went in to check on my other babies. hi guys, i'll apologise in advance if this is in the wrong section, but i figured wat better place to ask simple questions than in the newbie section? im from melb, and thanks to this site im piecing together my first indoor setup, my question is: is it a good idea to invest in some quality seed/clones for my first indoor grow or should i "practice" on some less definate shit i have lying around? if its a good investment, can anyone suggest some good strains for a chilly hillbilly region - yes i'll be monitoring temps etc but rather have something pretty sturdy so i dont need to make my bedroom into a bloody incubator! quick ps - does anyone have comments on …

Ive started 3 seeds (2 weeks apart) in a bucket which has large holes at the base, 2" large flat pebbles, 2" sphagnum moss and is topped-off with 8" 50/50 soil/peat moss. The bucket is in a small cupboard with 6 vertical 4' 38W cool white flouros and has a homemade CO2 maker (aired bottle with water/sugar/yeast) and a container to catch water. So far one plants stem was eaten when it was young so I had to re-root it. Right now 2 plants are 4" and are being trained already and the other milky-green one is a seedling making its first 3 leaves. All 3 seeds were from bag weed but the weed was excellent. I was building an Airo system but have decided to try DWC. I have 2 x 50 litre tubs i am wanting to use, I have 4 holes cut with netpots in the lid of 1, I'll keep the second for my control tub. At the moment i have 2 airpumps, Both are the small single outlet type, Dont know size, 1 has pi-3000 written on it. I only have 1 small airstone till i get to the pet shop. I just need to know if i can do 4 plants per tub and get away with using these pumps, Using T connectors and 2 stones per tub/pump, Or should i go a bigger pump and more stones. I'll probably get a third tub for a resi soon also. Any other advice much appreciated, Thanks heaps, Paranoid.
