I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on plant color, I have a new born, about 2 weeks old and "she" has really dark green leaves- is that a good thing, does that give any clues on what kinda stain it is, or if it is healthy, its beeing grow outside, weather is around 77 for a high and 65 as a low, fair skies. I have been watering her now around every 3 days. What i dont understand is, this new one i have looks healthy, and the steem is about as thick as a straw. but i have another plant, whos 3 and half weeks old, who steam is about as thick as a sewing pin, she doesnt look to healthy, and doesnt seem to be getting any bigger, why is this, both plants are in …

Hey there Can someone tell me how can I tell when it is time to pick. Here are some photos of my plants. They are 4 monhs old, some of the buds look almost ready to pick. My question is do buds get picked according to season, age of plant, or temperature. Are these ready? check em all out, some near the bottom arent ready, so CAN I pick some but leave the not-so-ready ones ANY advice would be appreciated!!

Some advice after reading a few posts with newbies having questions regarding first grows. Too many of you are at risk of fucking your first plants because of over enthusiasm. Mj was first a plant which grew in the wild. There were no lights, weekly applications of bloom buster, or careful preening. For outdoor growers all you need to do is; Attain good seeds or clones. Get a good balanced soil that is the right PH. Put the plant in a full sun position. Water it adequately. Feed a balanced fertilizer at the required times. I know with my first grow many moons ago, I overfertilized, over watered, over loved it to death! JUST LEAVE IT ALONE. For yo…

alrighty, I've searched the posts, and had a look in the `links' tab, but I can't find any addy's for online hydro shops. I've been through 2 x Dick Smith electronic PH testers in 6 months, so it's time to buy something better - suggestions NE1 ?

Want %100 strike rate? Sick of watching your darlings shirvel up and die? Follow this simple stategy and cloning problems will be a thing of the past. So first thing is choose a healthy mum of a good strain. During the day take cuttings from all over the plant. Be savage and take all but about the last %30 of the plant. I recommend this as the Mum will come back stronger and bushier than ever even after multiple (indefinate) cloning attacks. Do it during the day cycle as the plant's cuttings will take to root a lot faster. I've heard some growers only use the branch tips, but I use every healthy node avaliable. sometimes getting three, four or more clones from a single br…

Hi, I’ve indulged in pot for over 10 years and finally got my own place to live. I want to produce my own buds, but have no idea where to start. Is there a prior post that can describe seeds, soil, lighting, and harvest information? If not, can someone explain where to start with hydroponics? Thank-you

I have just started a few plants, they have 4 leaves on them now, about 3 and half inches tall> I have been having trouble getting :her: Bigger, She has been the same 3 inches for 2 and half weeks> i realize that plants need a lot of sunlight, and the conditions where i live, Fl. has been around 78 for a high and 65 as a low, Is that good temp for a plant, i also realize, it depends on strain, this is a sailia stain, for sure. I keep her on my roof, for ample sunlight. I have her in good soil, that is not too watered, but i have watered her about every 5 days, and i gave her a small amount of plant food. I was Planning on putting her in a 5 gallon bucket with soil …

Hi. My plants started flowering around 3 weeks ago and the flowering was really rapid at 1st. The buds have become fairly thick, but still a bit sparse at the bottom of the stem. It seems they are growing slower now also the buds are around 1 inch in diameter at the moment. Some of them are starting to become a little smelly, and a little sticky, but the others still smell young and arent really sticky yet Im wondering how long does flowering go for and how will i know when they are ready for harvest. Also, Will they get much fatter in diameter , or will they just get sticky from this point ? Approximately how much longer do i have before they are ready, considering…

gday, as some of you would know I have only just recently moved indoors, so I am still trying to get my bearings. Bare with me if I ask fucking stupid questions. I have just transplanted from soil to coco, and everything seems to have gone well.I can't believe how thirsty the coco is, that shit absorbs water like nothing else!!! I have all my pots sitting in saucers. The dude at the local hydro store told me that i could either sit the pots in saucers or a second larger pot and pour a reasonable of water +nutes into it to let the coco continually absorb it. I have done this, and when i went to check on them the following morning, the saucers were dry.My coco is mois…
