My plants are very long and stringy, the stems arent as fat as other stems that i see in the pics. My biggest one is 10 and a half inches tall and the stem is skinny is that a bad thing? If so how do i get it to be thicker? How do u get your plants to be short and stalky? Sorry for so many questions . Thanks.

The plant i got at the moment is still female so far ! The question i got is; with old dead and dying leaves is it advisable to remove them or let the plant drop them naturally ? Any help regarding this matter will be very appreciated. Thanks.

I am about to setup my first growroom in a few weeks. I have grown outdoors- what strain i have no idea but i managed to get roughly 1 pound from each plant. I generally just toss them in the ground, water them and occasionally pour some compost from my worm farm on the ground. Nothing too complicated although the plants were only about 5ft tall. i was just wondering how much 1 hydro plane averages in yield? i know it depends on a lot of different things, but is there an average? Is it possible to get a pound from one hydro plant? This is quite a debatable topic, so i am interested in hearing the 'true stories' of how much one plant has actually yielded. It does n…

Hey all. As you can see I am new here and would like some advise on growing in a confined space. I have just mooved house and have found out that the roof cavity I am trying to grow in is alot smaller than the last. In height it is about 1200 - 1500mm and it is the only place I can grow. I am looking for advise on how I can grow in such a low space. Can anyone help. Regards Merlin

Does anyone know anything about additive U-Turn. What are its active ingredients, why is it packaged like some guy or girl has made it up in the garage, why there is absolutely no info on bottle such as directions for use, company name? It works well in pumping up bud size and stopping vertical growth but info is hard to get. All thoughts and comments appreciated.

sorry to sound like an amateur, but this is my first indoor grow, and i'm not sure what to use first.I have been using "Zennax" fert. it's a 2 part mix for veg(it makes about 1000 litres)There was only one bucket for the vegative stage, but two buckets for the flowering/fruit stage(one for each). My question is: Do i use the flower first, and then the fruit (i assume that's correct), or do i use fruit first, then flower.Or do i mix them both together?(it doesn't say to do that on either of the buckets). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks - CALYX.

Ok I am gonna be getting my exhaust fan this weekend and I was after a little info on what size I need for my growroom the first thing I did was get the area of the GR which is 2.4 m3 (cubic meters) then I figured the room need to have lots of fresh air passing through so I then multiplied the size of the room buy 45 times which gave me a total of 108m3 and that means that I need to have a fan that can can suck at least 108m3 per hour. also Incase it matters I will be using a pasive intake system my bottom line question is what size fan do I need ( how many mm )

ok here is a simple one for you all as I went ot check on my plants today I relised that theri roots have grown out of the holes in the pots and are now floating in my tray I use to catch the water that drips out now I was just wondering what I should do is this a sign that my pots are not big enough ( using 10inch round pots) or are my roots gonna go down to here as a natural growth pattern and not a problem ? the good news is the roots seem to look like they are in great condition

Just a general enquiry, I have been looking at sog / scrog growing for a little while, and am rather intriuged at the yield / space that these kind of techniques utilize. I am yet to set up a hydro setup myself and would love to, however I have been told by a fellow grower / mate that I would be better off under the circumstances I am under to setup a one / two pot plant under light grow. This is a good idea as I am totally new, am yet to have my own house etc. I was just wondering however, could you use a couple of pot plants and train them to fill a screen? Or do non - hydro setups not have the speed of grow / ability to change nutes etc as fast to make a screen worthwh…

Hi there everyone, Got some clones rooting and Im wondering what size pots to put them in when they start showing roots? Will be using about 50/50 potting mix/perlite. Grow footprint is 45cm x 85cm, hoping to fit in 4 plants. Is it true that mj needs height of pots more than width? Your advice will be appreciated
