Hello every1,just wondering if growing in big pots indoors how big do you grow b4 changing over to flower?I know that you can swich them anytime if using cuttings but whats the average height for a pure indicia say Red devil? Im thinking about 1 metre finished height would be good yield etc how big do you stoners grow your plants before switching and how much do they put on after switching?As ive been told they stretch a fair bit during flower,Ive heard it is good to use veg nutes 4 2 weeks after switching is this correct?Thanks

Grow to about one third of your available grow height to allow for stretch and to leave space so that the light can still spread across the canopy, if you want to veg for longer periods you will need to tie or train your plants down, check out Chev’s and my grow, the link is in my signature.

I switch nutrients with the light cycle.

i veg to about a foot then tie down... and switch nutes when you change the light cycle like Tom says

hello every1,Say you grow a pure indicia(Red devil) to 50-60cm/2 feet b4 switching will they stretch to say 90-100cm/3feet finished height?And if any1 has grown b4 i would like to know 1.Does it strech much after switching? 2.How long it took to flower?Any tips on a good height for a good yield?Thanks

Pure Indica's normally double their height during the flowering cycle and take around seven or eight weeks to finish.

you dont need to change the nute to flowering nutes until flowers have formed.

Alot of people use a combination of veg and bloom nutes in the change over, as the plants really still do need high levels of Nitrogen.

 

I personally use grow until I see flowers and then flush, and change to bloom nutes.

big smoker im not sure if theres alot of info on that strain check out cannagenetics.com they may have some info in the strain index section, but even that is just really a guide line to how the plant will grow/stretch/flower/yeild, its not 100% gauranteed proven theory, all plants are difference so some will stech alot of then others id say try to as much research from people who have grown it, then start to do your own research as u grow it measure before flower measure again 2 weeks later thats sort of thing keep eye on its progrees/nutes. hope this helpss

BTW cannagenetics doesnt list Red devil, but it does list Devil which I think is another name for it but its sugarmarthas or nevills devil. and RED devil is greenhouse seeds strain.
