7 Day old clones, under 20w cfl x2 no roots to be seen yet. no idea of the strain (sry) the rockwool cubes are starting to dry out and the stems are turning purple. Is this normal or is it all down hill from here ? they are largish clones Im misting the leaves with a very weak nute solution. Cant show you pic my hubby has the camera ( grrrr ) One of them had started to sag a bit so I wet the bottom of the rockwool cube, hoping it might only be thirsty.

This might sound like a really dumb question, but I was looking at my empty, fairly large fish tank, and started wondering if I could grow some plants in it. Anyone ever tried it?

Hi all, I'm in need of some help/info re the use of cocopeat in a recycling system. I'm a first time grower. I've had on-going probs with fungus gnats & deficiencies which upon further reading & advice, Have been led to believe this could be because of the coco in recycling?? Can anyonne offer me any advice on this? Should i change to a run to waste system? How do i do this if i rent my place & my rooms pretty small? How big does your res have to be then? & if i stay with recycling, what's perlite like compared to clay balls? I know there's a lot of questions here, but i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed rite now! (perhaps, i need a little toke to calm my…

seems theres a new canna range, dont think we can get in aus at the moment but worth a look. CANNA proudly presents the revolutionary and newly developed organic product line: "BIOCANNA". BIOCANNA products are 100% natural and meet all the requirements for organic farming. This means they are legally checked and guaranteed ORGANIC! BioVega, BioFlores and BioBOOST are vegetable-based and do not contain any animal residual products. The main advantage of this is that the product's composition is much better tuned to the plant's needs. An additional advantage is that the product cannot contain any animal pathogenic organisms, such as influenza viruses (for example chicken …

Saw the NSW one, thought maybe we could add retailers for different city's here. Seeing as I'm from Adelaide, I'll cover that one. These are all out of the Adelaide Yellow Pages and are hydro stores and realated stores in Adelaide Metro area. (BTW I've left out some wholesalers) There are stores I know of not listed in the pages, I left them out as maybe they weren't listed for a reason. ADELAIDE: A&B organic Shop 5, 353 Martins Road, Parafield Gardens Ph: 82834011 Advanced Growth Shop 6, 88 Glynburn Rd, Hecterville Ph: 81650201 Advanced Hydroponics Hendon: 21 Tapleys Hill road Ph: 82400255 Cumberland Park: 428 Goodwood Rd Ph: 82724111 Amazon Hydroponics 16…

Thought I'd try adding some oxyplus to my recirculating system because the roots were taking on a slight brownish tinge. While I was at it I also added some PK 13-14 to give the buds a little extra treat. Now my nutrient water has gone a little cloudy, is this normal using these products ??

Hi guys, I plan to start my first grow sometime this week, however I'd prefer to get my medium/nutrient situation sorted before I start so I can have a solid plan! My grow will be between 2 small cabinets, one for mother/parent plants and the other for flowering. (mainly) Due to the small cabinet sizes I will be using CFL's for lighting. This grow will be a stealth one, and I'd like to keep maintenance to a minimum and as such I have ruled out hydroponics(for the time being). At this stage I am leaning towards using soil/perlite as a growing medium as it seems to be more resistant to ph fluctuations and nutrient issues. However I have seen some decent grow…

Hey everyone Just wanted to know if the tech i used for outdoors would be a good 1 for indoors What i normaly do is place some seeds into a small clear glass, fill about halfway with water and leave them in a spot that gets plenty of sunlight for about 2-3 days. After that you can see about 3mm of it sprouting and is ready to be put into the planting medium. is this way ok for indoors? As ive found this way to be the most effective outdoors in not only speed of growth but also the health of the plant everytime ! thanks for your thoughts
