Why is Coco Coir bad to use in a recycling system?

Haven't had a chance to drop by the past few days, just wanted to say thanks to all for the advice! much appreciated.

* I'm going to continue with the recycling system and most probably try perlite next time, or clay ballz? But i heard they do heat up quicker? i'll have to do some research.

* Hand watering would be a hassle 4 me, i'd most likely overwater & kill them as I've done to other pot plants, palms & things, on my balcony in the past.

*Luke, I got guardian & silika magic, not microbial tho, can i use that as well?
