Hi all, i am just getting ready for my 2nd grow, this time i want to use some nutes suitable for a 100% coco grow. I have a big 80L tub that i will store my water in, i plan to hand water just because its easy for me. If i add my nutes and adjust the ph level in this 80L tub, what is the best way to keep it fresh, the water could possibly be sitting there for a few weeks until i need to top it up again. I have a medium sized air pump with a large stone to keep the water air rated and it pumps out enough air to swirl the water around a little tiny bit. I just know that water loses its natural nutrients (or what ever ya wanna call them) when left for 24hours even. …

I have been growing from clones with this 'Mum" keeper. I am finding I have seemed to let her get to thin around the waist. Now she is right up top and will be cloned from on Thursday. So, should she keep her place. I am keeping 2 strains atm. This Is both side by side This is a close up of the replacement It is so tempting to put this plant to flower tbh. I'm trying to plan ahead & never give up this particular strain. It's just too fast , sturdy, bulky, sokes up well to boot. I know mum's well recovered from my last round of cut taking, I do want to keep some new strains in 2006. I think I can …

hi guys, my first dwc setup, seems to be going well, wondering if anyone has any feedback or suggestions about how im going about things. sorry no digicam pics as yet, im sure youve seen a tub and a plant before anyway i have 2 x 80L black tubs with removable lids and 3 x 250mm holes jigsawed in each lid. then have 2 x 30cm air stones in each each air stone receiving ~4750cc/min (9500cc/min/tub) each tub has a 1" hole at the base connected a gate valve. the gate valve with a piece of clear pipe serves to monitor the water level inside the tub without opening the lid and disturbing the plants, or to simply drain the contents of the tub. my grow space is a reasonabl…

I read that you can use carbonated water to add Co2 to your plants through foliar application of the carbonated water. Has anyone tried or is using this method of CO2 application? It sounds like a excellent way for us aussie growers as its a very cheap method without any added smells like the yeast/vinegar methods or increased heat through burning propane. And if anyone is using the yeast/vinegar methods out there, is the smell really that bad? Cheers :smoke

I live in the US so bare with me and my american ways of measurement. So far its been about 3 days and 2 of my 6 seedlings have broke open and showed that they are wanting to be planted. One of the 2 tips are about 1/2 inch long, can i put this one in a pot now? The other one is about 2mm and im thinking about leaving it where the other seeds are still germinating for another day or so. This is my first attempt at growing and beleive it or not my mom wants to help me with it :thumbsup . How big of a pot am i going to need? I have a nice Pot about 10 gallons big (im pretty sure that will do the trick). If anyone could point me towards some of the growing pro…

There are however small green flowers developing from the seed pods and quite a lot of greenish powder too that falls from the seed pods onto the leaves. Is anyone familiar with this situation ? Hi team, I looked into my nute reservoir today to see a fair amount of greyish sludge at the bottom! I gave the tank a good shake but it did not dissolve again. I have recently switched to Dutch Advanced nutes. Is this ok? SHould I be doing something? As always, I know I will get swift and informative advice...thanks!
