Hi Guys, I'm about to start my first hydro crop and I have a question about water. I've been reading that demineralised or distilled water should be used for hydro nutrients but I can't see myself forking out for 50 litres of water everytime I want to change over my reservoir. What do you experienced growers recommend? Should I just bite the bullet and go down the bought water route? I'll be growing in an ebb and flow system using clay balls as medium in the South East of Melbourne. I've got a pH and EC meter on the way for measurements. Thanks, thegolfer

After some advice on nutrients please. My new grow will be in a perlite/vermiculite mix. Roughly 75/25. I have been using Canna Vega and Flores with Rhizotonic for quite a while now. That was growing in Canna Terra. My local hydro shop closed recently and I went to another last month and they don’t stock Vega or Flores. The owner pushed the stuff pictured below down my throat... I assume he gets a good kick back on sales.. apparently made locally. It is cheap at only $30 for the litre bottle. Is the claim it is good for growing in any medium a bit of an exaggeration? I am happy to pay for good nutrients, any advice on what line I should use in the per…

My outdoor grow has just starting to flower. Ive stripped off some of the lower 'baby leaves'.... but im wondering should I do more? Here are some pics. You can maybe see the branches are bare where it splits from the main. Thats where I have stripped. Also a shot from above. Hi all! i posted up back in April Sloppy, Lazy, Basic first time grow where i had for the first time actually started a planted. its been 6 months and i actually went back in that thread for an update every now and then. i've reached a point where my plant has definitely flowered but i'm not sure if i should harvest yet or not. so from the reading i've done i still can't decide if its ready or not. i haven't noticed much change for a couple of weeks. the main thing i've read is that when the pistils turn red/brown they're ready but i cannot identify the pistils and i'm worrying that i'm overshooting harvest time. are the pistils the little orange hairs we can see…

Hey guys, Been reading various grow diaries and questions , searching for hours and now im concerned about my planned grow. Today I ordered some CBD crack by fast buds. Its a feminised auto. Ive ordered 3 (wish i went for 5 now), all of which i will try and germinate. Hopefully, by the time they arrive and I am ready to germinate and plant it will be 4-6weeks. Im in S.E Queensland and it will be an outdoor grow. So far I'm thinking: 10-15L pot (any preference or recommendations?) Canna terra pro. Hello fellow Oz Stoners.... I grow in coco..... I use Grorite and Budrite. During flower the additives used are Monsta Bud and Add Bud, my own bloom booster. In the past I have used Natures Own Bloom Guano throughout the whole grow. Q. Would it really matter if I dropped the guano? What benefit does guano provide? So many opinions. I'm confused. First grown and first post was just wondering if someone could take a look at this little guy and tell me what this is? Over feeding? Over watering? Thanks in advance
