cut it at the base of the drunk, bore holes in the trunk remaining , about 3 , & about 3 inches deep, pour roundup (glysophate) in the holes , pure roundup not diluted ,  repeat every 3 days for 2 weeks , or longer ………..bye bye  bougainviella

 

The chemical will be absorbed by the plants roots …….& heaps easier & virtually no cost , compared to all the other  shit , nurseries try to sell you , that don't work

Yeah drilled a few holes in the fucker, filled with blackberry killer, it stayed dead for a couple of years, had it right back to a stump almost

They make nice flowers, the biomass always impressed me too.
