These White Widow girls are about 9 weeks into flower. I had a problem with a cheap timer 2 weeks ago, it was staying on 24hrs during the flowering time for i think 4 -5 days before i picked up the problem. I think my girls started to go back to the growth stage. The heads are thick and solid and a good size, but there is no christaliation and not much of the sweet smell.. Even after handling my fingers are barely sticky or sweet smelling. About 30-40% of the pistols have turned amber color, still not a lot of smell and no christals at all. please help..

Looking at doing 1st grow and would like 2 know what would be easiest hassle free system besides hand watering, maybe satellite recirculating? Thankyou. p.s has any 1 used a grow tent and how good are they? the hydro shop has aluminium frame that you can set up with panda but im not a good handy man and would prefer the tent as they are easy to set up, although will have 2 put an inlet and out fan, or could i just put in an air cooled light?

G'day all, I recently purchased a Bluelab EC truncheon and a small test tube liquid pH kit (can't afford a digital one yet) and tested my tap water after letting it sit for a few days. The EC is 0.8 and the pH is 7.5+, which I understand to be not too good. My question is, do you think I should use it (with some pH down), or should I purchase distilled or some other bottled water each week? I am concerned about the cost of buying water, but it is only for a few pots so it may not cost that much each week.. (also I don't think a reverse osmosis system can be covered by my budget at the moment). The seedlings are currently in rockwool cubes being watered with distille…

Hey guys. Any of you guys had experience with growing plants indoors then bringing them outdoors at the start of spring time? What Strains did you use? I plan on growing some plants indoors from seed... determining their sex... making clones and building ranks.. right before the start of the outdoor season. Also.... reckon a plant under 24/0 indoor light would revert to flower when brought outside? Furthermore... I live in Australia... so if your a northern hemi.. your light hours and intensity are differeent... thus your advice does not merit. Cheers - Allotropy

The reason I ask is because lets say you buy ten big bud seeds. You veg them, take clones of each one, put them into flower and then carry on with your best female. (normal practice) If you were to seed them and with the seed put a hundred or so outside you could choose out of a hundred and you'd be more likley to get that freak yielder that your after. Just youd have to bring it back indoors, reveg and clone it. So thats my question. Is there any down side to the quality of the plants you will get coming from a reveged mother. Some times with my outdoor crosses I get wicked, freaky yielding, stand alone fems. Would be good to clone these. Cheers fellow green thu…

So thanks to a bunch of your help, my first grow in over 5 years was a success. So i'm turning to you guys for more help .......I took clones about a month and a half ago, and my question is: Are the clones too old to use now? They are definitely root bound and look ready, but will i be better off taking new clones? Should clones be transplanted right away when root bound, or can they sit for a good while and wait for you to use them? Thanks in advance for all the help. - yota

I am going to be growing under 6 T5 high output lights (they use ballasts) but id like to take a clone off each plant (6 plants in total) root it and force it to flower to determine the sex of the plant it came from so i can destroy the males earlier in the grow. would 1 23W CFL do the job? (Id only flower 2-3 clones at a time) would it be enough light to get them to show sex?

I found some seeds in a film canister and decided to start growing. not sure what they are. these seeds are most like years old from back when my dad used to grow. They are at the end of the 5th day in the paper towel and nothing has happened to the 10 seeds except for two, these two haven't cracked down the side of the seed the have just popped, they just have a hole in them and are pretty much empty. Are these seeds buggered or is there hope? thanks.

Hi all Many people have been telling me to add perlite to my potting mix but just recently I have been told its not a good idea. Here is what they said they said: “All composts are made to have as near as possible correct air and water holding capacity, adding things that make it drain faster and hold more air mess it up big time for plants like cannabis and it reduces the fertiliser reserves, ie makes it weaker. Cannabis is a greedy plant that likes plenty of food and does best in compost that has good water retention, in fact once in final pots the addition of water holding crystals can be a big advantage, especially when its hot in the summer, thats the absolute o…
