I keep seeing that when setting up the medium for a hydro , not only do you use clay pebbles but to also mix in perlite and vermiculite , if true how much? Cheers Pork

Yesterday NSW introduced mandatory loss of licence of you fail RBT or RDT now. So got me thinking, how long dyu need to leave after a smoke or vape to be able to pass RDT? Hi all, Complete novice please be kind. I’m a long time chronic arthritis and MS sufferer. Been taking prescription opioids for years. A mate gave me a few joints of Afghani Kush and I was in tears as to the relief it gave me. Now thinking of growing a couple of plants in garage but honestly have next to no $ to spend due to raising 2 kids on disability Pension so how can I do it super cheap? Outdoors is not possible. Have 1 window that gets 2-3 hrs direct sunlights per day. Thanks in advance ✌️

Need some advice. My first grow in 80x80x160cm 2x quantum boards 240w My seedlings are about 2 weeks old and they seem to grow very slow. My temperature in tent is around 26-30c but my humidity is very low at around 29-30% Since the exhaust opening in tent was 6" I got 6" fan that seems to be too powerfull for the tent size.i run it 30min every hour. What sort of, or model humidifiers everyone using. I've been just keeping humidity up with a wet sponge in there, but moving to a bigger tent (1.2 X 1.2) figured I should get myself a humidifier. Hey guys! I've been away for a yonk and a half visiting Japan and so had to stop growing the goods for that period. I'm back in the game though and had a simple and possibly pointless question; When do you say, "Alright I've got too many colas/growth tips coming up, I think I'll cut some off." I count 20 decent tips on my plant with a few not quite as tall. Any advice for a budding horticulturalist?

Hey guys, I want to start a new grow with a coco / perlite (75% / 25%) mix, and am after some advice regarding nutrients. I don't really want to fuck around with bottled nutes and have seen some cool stuff being done with dry amendments, so i'm keen to try that out. Has anyone had any experience with the premixed nutrient kits from organic gardening solutions? https://www.organicgardeningsolutions.com.au The grow will be a single plant in the same pot start to finish (probably 5L) so I'm hoping to figure out a mix to go along with the coco + perlite combo to start with, and then one/multiple mixes I can add in as I progress through veg/bloom. Hey crew ! I usually trim off a lot of leaves before flipping lights or within the first few weeks but what’s people opinions on defoliation during late flower ? Does it help to swell buds with more access to light or do you think it only helps the more shaded /popcorn buds .? Second question I’ve heard fan leaves act like solar panels to help grow , is that more relevant in vegging stage and should all stay on or is it okay towards the end of flower to trim them to help fatten up popcorn buds that they are shading and leave sugar leaves on ? Thanks
