Evening all y'all. Feelin' really fat after a big dinner with Mom so I'll probably be short Just thought I'd let you know that there's a great way to sketch out the basic details of a grow cupboard / room / warehouse, would be interested to see if anyone else had seen this. I heartily apologise if this sounds like an ad. It's not in any way shape or form. HONEST .. . . anyway It's a free prog by google called sketchup. found it the other week, and after an hour of picking it up I had got the hang of the basics. There are limitations - Curly vent duct, pipes and leads I havn't sussed yet, but layout for lights/plants etc it BRILLLLLLLL. You can see snags …

I use Botanicare nutes with impressive success but always trying to improve. Liquid Karma, Pureblend Pro, Coco Cat, Bananna Manna, Green Fuse, Big Bud, Shooting Powder. Main Strains- G13, Skud, Heavy Duty Fruity Method - DWC, 5gl buckets

Ok, I just got a confirmation of dates and will be going away for 4 days in the near future. What I want, or need to work out is, if plants are not watered for 4 days, or given a big drink and left for 4 days, will it cause any problems? If it will, would it be ok to set up a slow drip feed system so they get water while I'm away? I have some time up my sleeve to get this sorted so I'm not stressing too much at this point in time. Cheers all. ~Rose.

Hi all! My mates water/nutes mix is PH 7 and he's been advised to lower it to 5.5 - 6. Can you use citric acid to lower PH and is that ph correct? PS Awsome feedback on previous posts ! Thanks people!

Seed germination is very easy, get some seed raising mix, stick the seed in, water it and hope for the best. To get that little bugger the right start in life, when the seed is in the mix, water it with a solution of trace elements. Yes trace elements. You keep using the trace element solution until true leaves are form, then use your normal ferts.

Hi I'm wanting to grow some plants (probably 3) but my grow space only measures to a 1m and a bit tall, however I have heard that if you put the plant into 12/12 lighting early you can limit the height that it'll grow. I'm told that a plant will roughly double in hight after you change to 12/12 light so if I turned to 12/12 when the plant was at about half a meter would the plant end up at roughly a meter tall? I'm going to be using a mix or Blue and Red CFL's on an adjustable ballast in a cupboard roughly half a meter front to back by a meter and a half wide, and as I said a meter and a bit tall, the cupboard is also fitted with a thermostaticly controlled extractor fan …

The nutrient challenge by Pete Brady (06 Jan, 2004) Advanced Nutrients says they have the best pot plantfood, and they are challenging the competition. In the last issue of Cannabis Culture, I told you about a Canadian marijuana nutrients company called Advanced Nutrients (CC#45, The Ultimate Pot Plantfood). The information I provided about Advanced Nutrients was in the context of an article that discussed Marijuana Growth Deficiency Syndrome (MGDS), which is characterized by plants that grow poorly and produce low yields. I wrote that Advanced Nutrients products might well cure MGDS, because the company's product research, formulations, and quality control seemed …

Hey guys. Im a real newbie when it comes to growing and was going to buy some seeds for my own stash because its so dry out here in Perth but i really have no idea, usually when i buy, it comes straight from the bag, and into my grinder. I have no idea what happens to it before then. What im looking for is a grow guide that will help me through growing and curing, but also the steps taken after to the smallest detail, what parts of the plant to i use and that kind of thing. almost like a 'Growing Weed For Dummies' book? if anybody knows where i can get something like that i would REALLY appreciate it.

Hey guys. I picked up a q recently that had some seeds in it, and I was thinking of tyring a bag seed grow with them once summer starts. Anyway, I was wandering what size a normal cannabis seed should be? These things are tiny- perhaps 2 x 3mm at the most. Approximately the size of a sesame seed for reference. Are they too small/underdeveloped? Normally I would just try and germ one myself to see if they worked, but I've only got a few and was hoping to plant as many as possible so I don't want to waste any.

I have no info as to what this is and are clones sourced from a friend of a friend and id like some idea if they are worth persisting with otherwise id rather aquire a knowen strain, preferably a reasonable quality big yielder. What strains are good for quality smoke and large yields? - ive heard Great White shark and Big Stone are quality smoke and reasonable yields but am unsure if they are available locally? What strains do the commercial guys use? Heres the pic of my mysterybag clones, three leaves and a sativa …

So i have a grow diary called Morningstar if you want to check it out (plz do!). So heres the deal. This is day 40, about 5.5 almost 6 weeks and im starting to get powdery mildew on some leaves. Im getting worried about it spreading and kind of wanting to harvest it now to avoid losing some of the crop. Its been getting nutes up to today even. Does it look done or harvestable to you guys? 6 weeks seems really soon, but i guess its possible right (some strains are 6 weeks?)? What do you think, and should i the amount of flush days if so? thanks a lot! By the way, this is 3 days ago, so there has been some slight maturing since. Some buds have almost 100% orange hairs, ot…
