hey, i'm just smoking my first homemade BHO. And i am mightily impressed. I used ventii bute, and stainless steel tube and screen+coffee filter. So now i am ready now for the horror story of what i have done to myself with this ventii butane ect.. hit me with it now before i spend the next 2 days smoking it. fantastic, fantastic stuff. much better yield per can than i thought looks 100% the part, smell, taste aswell easier than bubble too. enviromentally probably not so hot though.

Ok guys I have been sifting through the forums I can't really find what any kind majority recommends for nutes. I am beginning flowering under a 400W HPS and need to get my hands on some hydro nutes. I am using a dripper system with a 2:1 blend of perlite and vermiculite. Any help is much appreciated cause I need to be ordering these suckers pronto. Thanks

I hope someone can help me? I have been trying to grow some seeds and as usuall when I try to do this all I get is one huge stem and then just 4 little leaves at the top! Is there anything I can do to fix this, pruning and so on? Do I just cut them off and see what sprouts? All at the top and bare everywhere else, is this normal or do I just have dud seeds or a badly UNGREEN THUMB? Please help. Thanks..badhabits!

Lastly, while I still have an audience, I would like to bring attention to an alternative food and energy source. You won't see it included in BP's, "Feel good. We are working on sustainable solutions," television commercials, nor is it mentioned in ADM's similar commercials. But hemp has been used for at least 5,000 years for cloth and food, as well as just about everything that is produced from petroleum products. Hemp is not marijuana and vice versa. Hemp is the male plant and it grows like a weed, hence the slang term. The original American flag was made of hemp fiber and our Constitution was printed on paper made of hemp. It was used as recently as World War II by th…

I was kicking around the idea of adding more moms to my closet and was wondering what everyone like to smoke and why. so if could list off favorite strain, or even an every day smoke strain you like. I start us off Black Domina By Sensi Seeds. It has a kick ass "STONED" buzz to it but yields really suck.

...about outdoor grows and I think what you'd call "training"? If I were to have a grow on a balcony that gets a LOT of sun every day, and were to be growing under a wood/greenscreen contraption, and lets say they reached the "top" of this where they bumped into the greenscreen that was "over" them... Assuming they could still get all the sun and water they needed, would they be ok? Also, what would happen, would they just like, start growin' sideways under it? I knew a fellw up north that grew a huge-ass "tree" almost, he tied it over, it seemed fine... So, thoughts?

Ok...so lets say one wanted to grow hydroponically or with airponic equipment... Either. Assuming you worked out ways to contain any moisture/liquid in a seperate area without it "migrating", what do you think would happen if you were to have the roots up above the plant, and plant facing downwards, and underneath it, a grow light on the "ground" under it, facing up? Would the plant start growing upside-down? Would gravity somehow...make liquid/bus size swell more? Would this eliminate/lessen the duration of the dry/hang? I just feel like I wanna do this, just to try...I have no equipment yet, but I think I'm gonnd look further into this, just because. Thoughts?

Hey guys if you guys have been reading up on all my newbie questions you know I am about to transplants my girls to some larger buckets and am almost ready to flower em under the HPS. The question I have is: I have noticed that as the temp decreases where I am residing the plants stems have become a purple color. I can see it in the veins of the leaves a bit but mostly on the the stems. Could this be a consequence of the colder climate: mid to low 60's at night and 70's during the day, or do you guys think this has to do more with a Phosphorous problem? Thanks for the responses and always the massive amount of help. Also stay posted for picks of their new habitat

hey folks, im pretty sure i have either a calcium or sulfur deficiency. as i read in the faq, a calcium deficiency can cause the leaf margins and the leafs to curl in a upward motion. making the leaf's look retarded. i read that a calcium deficiency can come about when too much Mg magnesium is added. Now thinking about it i did add a littl.e extra epsom salts to the soil, before planting them. what nutrients are high in calcium and/or sulfur

hey folks, for the first time in my whole growing experiance i have just heard/read about flushing.. now this could have helped me out so many fkn times where somthing had gone wrong for eg the wrong soil ph, nute burn, deficiencys... sheesh.. anyway, im just not sure about this part - if i was to buy some cocopeat, can i adjust the pH of it by adding a head of pH addjusted water to it ? or just flushing it through pots ? if i had planted some plants in soil, and then found out the pH was incorrect, could i just flush pH adjusted water through them too ? im also pretty sure i added too much magnesium sulfate to the soil of some of the clones i have going.. caus…
